Way back in 2012, we had a crazy idea to change the way the world sees soda. We wanted to make sodas the way they were made 100 years ago: with pure cane sugar, real ingredients, and in glass bottles. Well, we are still working on changing the world, but with the help of our Kickstarter backers, we were at least able to make delicious soda available (in spite of the difficulties and delays that we had in doing so)! But the story didn't end there.
With the money from our Kickstarter campaign, we were eventually able to build out our very own soda bottling line and commercial kitchen which allowed us the opportunity to continue to innovate and develop new and exciting products. The first thing we developed after our soda was a line of infused honey (that we call Bee in Your Bonnet) which we launched in 2014. Like Pure Sodaworks, we wanted to use all real ingredients in order to give honey a whole new flavor profile and culinary use, while at the same time supporting local beekeepers.
As we continued to work on and tweak our sodas and honey, we also started examining other products that would fit. It wasn't long before we began working on a collection of sustainable and unique soy candles. We launched our line of comfort food and scent-memory inspired candles, Waxing Wistful, in 2015 after much experimentation and development.
In 2016, in order to bring all of our products and lines under one roof, we launched RogersMade. In addition to Pure Sodaworks, Waxing Wistful, and Bee in Your Bonnet, we have a collection of stationery (Petals+Prose Press) and natural insect repellent products (Out and About). We are also continuing to innovate and develop even more new and exciting food products that we hope will continue to change the way that people think about food.
To all of our backers, friends, family, and fans: Thank you for supporting us all those years ago when we were just getting started with soda. Thank you for continuing to support us over the years. Because of your support, we have been able to develop and handcraft a number of unique product collections. We certainly hope to continue doing this for many years to come.
