We are ready to send out all the units to those that have completed their kick-starter surveys, As this is the only way we can get your shipping address. if you haven't filled it out, please do so, otherwise this will delay your order. We have your feedback from the surveys as well, and will be trying to address everyone's requests when possible.

We have already shipped out all nrf52 core only modules last week, and are sending the Super Sensor plus core, and development setups this Monday. We have everything tested, boxed and shipping labels printed and applied(except for about 10 non survey people).

We hope you all enjoy our creation. Please give us some good feedback of what you think once you get a chance to play with the hardware. We are still adding example code to the github repo All units have been programmed with an over the air BLE boot-loader, if you press the USR button on power-up or reset, it will be in boot-loader mode. Also the units come with a some demo code as well, this demo will connect to an Android smartphone app and send sensor data to it, for those without a super sensor you will only get the accelerometer data.  

You can use the key on the github site to sign custom code and flash it to the unit as well. For those with a tag-connect you can use that to re-flash the units as well as those who ordered the development setups with the JTAG adapter boards. Some directions to help you get started is posed here

Also for those international orders, please be patient for the shipping, it could be three or four weeks(from experience) to get to you, especially those without well established shipping channels to the USA.

      Thank you for the feedback! Glad it worked for you.

      I have deleted the extra private.pem from the repo so others do not get confused about which one was used in the CoreModule's code.

      I have also added a zip distribution package (puremodules_app_dfu_package.zip) to the nrf52/modules_examples/nrf52_supersensor_template_ble folder for those who do not have all the tools setup but want to see how to flash the CoreModule over DFU.

      Thank you Michael, with the Nordic Toolbox App it works flawlessly! After flashing the zip built from the HEAD of the repository also the temperature and RGB sensor seem to work well (now the blinking light is a bit dimmer as well). The only note for fellow puremodules tinkers: there are 2 private.pem files, you need to use the one referred in buildit.bat and not the one in the nrf52/modules_examples/nrf52_supersensor_template_ble/pca10040/s132/armgcc one.
      Looking forward for your online shop to open with new interesting modules. Good luck and thanks again!

      Hello Christian, Glad you got it working with the android application!

      I will be publishing a tutorial on how to flash a zip project through bluetooth early tomorrow. I will post that link on my next comment.

      But you are right, you would need a Nordic DK i you wanted to flash the code with wires.

      Our setup is intended to eliminate extra hardware. So we recommend downloading the Nordic Toolbox application and using their DFU program to flash a new project. Just download the Nordic Toolbox application, move the zip package to your phone and you should be able to send it over bluetooth.

      Tutorial will be out early tomorrow. Sorry for the delay. Hope you are enjoying the product!

      Hi, the modules arrived and I had them working with the demo Android application. Then I successfully connected to the pre-flashed firmware from Linux as well and recompiled the supersensor code from the puremodules git repository. Unfortunately I got stuck while trying to download the newly created zip package, I get the error "No Segger USB CDC ports found, please connect your board.". Reading the nrfutil dfu documentation I had the impression that you need the Nordic development kit to use it. Is this true or I am missing something? Thanks!

      I got my (early) module this weekend, it is very pretty. Now to get to work with it :)
