Welcome to the slaughtered orc tavern, the focal point where ever adventurer starts their journey or finish's it.
I am your friendly innkeeper and owner of this fine establishment, along with the taverns barmaid and locals, we help the adventures with town gossip, people of importance and directions to places in the town and surrounding area.
But no one knows what we have to deal with day in day out, from running out of the fine soap of the day - Orc toe nail to the rat king stealing barrels of our fine dwarven spit ale.
This is our adventure.
A dungeon crawler card game for 2 - 4 players, which fits in your pocket. Where you can play anywhere, and anytime, like the pub.
That’s the simple premise of the game
The concept of the game came about when I was looking at new projects and a common theme with most games is that they have a big box that you have to carry around with you, of course because they have miniatures, game board, cards etc.
I thought about having a dungeon crawler that you could carry in your pocket and play anytime and anywhere you want like down the pub.
As I went through making-up prototypes using AutoCAD, I had pieces of paper lying around all over the place and my wife suggested a tobacco tin that we had lying around to store everything in and this became the ideal size for the bases of the game.
Or throw the rules out and play how you like.

The manufacture that we are working with have experience with other kickstarter project and as such also handle shipping, but what does this mean for you?
Here is the obligatory costing pie chart.
As you can see there are only three main aspects that the funding is covering;
- Website hosting
We need to ramp up pace on the project, which is currently bottled necked with the artwork. This is due to the fact that our artist is a freelancer. He currently has contracts prior to the involvement with this project, which of course he needs to fulfil .
The artwork he has done for the project so far has been outside he’s normal freelance work and he has done an amazing job so far but to push this through we need to work on this full time.
Risks and challenges
The main risk posed to any project is funding, without a successfully funded project there is no product.
Drunken Tavern Adventures was developed from a simple concept and is currently evolving to the game we hope it will be. The concept has been played tested but with every fletchling, tweaks are needed.
We anticipate completion will be Q1 of 2019, this will allow us more time for tweaking and refining the project. Whatever happens, we will keep you in the loop via project updates and the website.
We have secured a manufacture, which have experience with kickstarter projects and ship to over 63 countries worldwide. This gives us the opportunities to reach more people.
It seems a standard occurrence with kickstarter campaigns that developers are having their first child during the campaign, so I would like to forewarn everyone that my partner and I had our first child at the start of August. This should not impact the project but there might be some baby updates.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
