ABOUT THE SHOW: Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog is a musical tragicomedy miniseries in three acts, which tells the story of Dr. Horrible, an aspiring supervillain; Captain Hammer, his nemesis; and Penny, their mutual love interest. The musical was written by writer/director Joss Whedon, his brothers Zack Whedon (a television writer) and Jed Whedon (a composer), and actress Maurissa Tancharoen. The team wrote the musical during the WGA writers' strike.
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog was originally produced for internet distribution. Our play adapted for the stage by Pineapple-Shaped Lamps. All your favorite songs are included, and we have also included songs from the commentary track!

ABOUT THE COMPANY: Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog is being performed at The Browncoat Pub & Theater, produced by Pineapple-Shaped Lamps and Guerrilla Theater.
Pineapple-Shaped Lamps is a newly started theater group that started off as a Rocky Horror shadow cast. Now PSL has gone on to perform a live weekly sketch comedy show, written and performed by members of PSL, as well as producing and directing plays for the Browncoat Pub & Theatre.
The Browncoat Pub & Theatre is considered home by many diverse artists in the Wilmington, NC area. Aside from their monthly play productions, they also host regular poetry nights, open mic comedy nights, screen truly independent films and produce their own LIVE weekly sit-com. The space is made available for free or as close to free as possible. This theater is very special because it is a Joss Whedon themed bar, and it is our great pleasure to be performing Joss Whedon's Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog in our home.
WHAT WILL YOUR DONATION PAY FOR: We are aiming to raise $500 with this campaign, which will go towards funding set production, costumes, props, technical personnel, paper printing, advertising and other promotional materials, as well as compensation for the talented people involved in the production.
