64 AD: Rome has fallen to fire! Who will restore the great city to its former glory?
Rome and Roll is a 60 - 90 minute strategic and interactive roll and write game for 1-4 players. From the designers of Anachrony, Dice Settlers, Welcome to DinoWorld, and Days of Ire, you will rebuild Rome and vanquish your foes.
Draft from a pool of custom dice to collect resources, construct the town, and raise legions. Political alliances, the colonies, and even the Gods all have a part to play.
The game also includes a solo mode crafted by Nick Shaw the “most connected man in solo gaming” (co-creator of solo modes for Cerebria and Trismegistus, and involved in the development of solo modes for Wingspan and Euphoria), in which you play against Nero’s advisor Seneca.
As more and more stretch goals are unlocked, the value of your pledge grows! For instance, the three new players boards that have unlocked since the campaign started will be released in a future retail bundle for £10. Add in the exclusive minis -- and the savings off the MSRP of the game -- joining the campaign with a £29 pledge is providing you with more and more value!
• Draft the dice to match your needs: roll, draw, and conquer!
• Draw your conquests out Tetris style onto the Seven Hills of Rome.
• Play one of four (seven if we reach stretch goals) asymmetric character classes, ranging from merchants to military leaders, with a wealth of different strategies to deploy. For example, the Legatus allows for more soldiers, while the Mercator's unique powers gather you more resources.
• Exploit multiple scoring avenues: construct buildings, trade resources, conquer unruly colonies and renovate the Roman road network.
• Create political alliances and call on the favour of the Gods.
• Raise legions and invade settlements as far afield as Egypt and Spain.
• Build roads and bring unruly provinces into line.

Risks and challenges
PSC Games is a seasoned Kickstarter publisher, with 15 successful campaigns under our belt. Rome and Roll is our 16th Kickstarter campaign.
Unexpected delays may affect any production schedule. In our case, these would most likely be associated with shipping, manufacturing, or customs processes. Should any delays occur, we will endeavour to keep our backers up to date every step of the way.
Please keep in mind that the shipping date shown in our Kickstarter campaign is only an estimate. Items ordered as Optional Buys will be shipped at the same time as the Rome and Roll game. Also, due to the logistics of international shipping, backers in some regions of the world may receive their rewards sooner than others.
Please note that our game's stretch goals and final design may differ from those shown in our campaign – sometimes we need to make technical changes as we go, improve our designs, or find a better way to do things.
Items offered as a Kickstarter Exclusive are produced for Kickstarter backers, with remaining stock available at conventions and through special promotions only.
If you’re unsure about committing to our Kickstarter, please remember that you’ll be able to buy the game once it hits the shops, but without any Kickstarter Exclusives or the benefit of special Kickstarter prices.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
