I agreed with comments below. I would like to see on/off app to turn on or off on video recording. I just ignored this step. The new update was great. One more thing is it possible in near future an adapter for IPhone 6 plus? I am currently using my husband's IPhone 6 and it's been inconvenience.
Any new products introduced will have some growing pain until it works out all the kinks and customer trial and error. I am still your supporter. I will share the camera with friends and family but I would like to see some issues taken care of.
I think everyone's being too harsh, especially about wanting an option not to include a video. The point of Prynt IS to have that cool function of embedding a video that makes our photos come to live! If not any good ol' photo printer would suffice. So please don't say you're disappointed in this product because it is doing exactly what it has promised to do. I don't think the Prynt team has received enough credit for this!
I am extremely happy with my Prynt case, but of course I've got a suggestion anyway-
Please consider providing the option of uploading a video from our camera rolls instead of just taking a video after our shot! Maybe before the shot is taken, there can be an option of whether (a) we want no video, (b) we want to record a video, or (c) we want to select an existing video from our camera rolls. So if someone chooses option (b) there'll still be the spontaneity of having a video taken immediately after the shot! :)

Why are you watermarking my photo? And for the love of god please make the video optional. Glad to see the power issue addressed, but your product manager doesn't seem to have a good handle on how this device is actually going to be used.

Good to have a firmware update. Now just MAKE THE VIDEO OPTIONAL. I just want to QUICKLY print a photo from my saved photos on the phone.
The key symbol is stupid and distracting. The prints still come out dark and heavily lined. The battery issues are astoundingly problematic (though it sounds like this alone might have been fixed). The video recording is perhaps the most asinine part of the whole debacle: no one wants to do it. Please make it optional. I don't use this for a lot of reasons at the moment, but certainly that one last reason is a big one.
Overall extremely disappointing product, especially the app and software surrounding it. Would not recommend to anyone. Would actively tell others not to waste their money. Surely someone else will come out with a photo printing piece of hardware that suffers none of these crippling and debilitating problems, and they will get my money in future. Shame on me for backing, for sure, but I certainly won't be supporting Prynt in the future.

Yes, please make the video recroding optional. It really sucks to be forced recording a video for every photo you import from your camera roll. As many said before, sometimes you just wanna print a photo and nothing more.
Also please implement the function to delet old prynts in the myprynts section.

Why don't you guys listen to what everyone is saying to you? Give the user the ability to just print! Make they whole experience pleasant and one someone will refer. They way the app stands now it NOT GOOD! I have 2 cases and EVERYONE SAYS THE SAME THING! "Sometimes I just wanna print and it makes me record when I don't want to". Just get it over with and fix the app already. It's super damn annoying!!

Still a little confused as to how to add a video to the picture that isn't just of me saying something random lol. So if I have a video, can I print a screen cap as a pic? And then the video will be saved onto the physical picture? Or can the video only be embedded into the picture right before printing?
The main function I want is to be able to turn the "secret message" OFF. I only want an instant print of what I snap on my phone camera. I am not using my sprung because it FORCES me to create a video before I can print the photo.
Dominik - We are releasing a new app update at 4pm PST today for iOS. Once you plus your Prynt Case in & open the updated app, you will get a pop up that the "firmware" needs to updated. This will take about a minute to update and once it's done you will be able to turn off your Prynt Case simply by unplugging your phone! Enjoy!

Well till now didn't change for me and my case isn't shutting down after removing the phone, is the update to come in a few days or did it come with the app in the App Store? Cause if so, it didn't change and the pictures still are dark.
