Hi Kik Ki! Yes, you'll just need a different adapter for each phone. We'll have those available closer to when we're shipping. Thanks for the question

    2. Kik Ki on

Can use with Samsung s4 and iphone6 right?

    3. Prynt 2-time creator on

Kik - Currently, we do not support the S6E because it only recently came out. We definitely have plans for the latest Samsung Galaxy models, but the support is likely to come after we ship our Kickstarter pre-orders. If you would like a refund, please send us a private message on Kickstarter and we can issue you a full refund. On top of that, as a token of apology, please send an email to offers@pryntcases.com using your BackerKit email and we will give you a coupon code to purchase a Prynt Case in the future on our website at the Kickstarter price for when we do support the S6E.

    4. Kik Ki on

If I use Samsung s6 edge I can use instant printing or not?

    5. Prynt 2-time creator on

Amir & Louis - These are great questions!

We didn't allow the option to purchase an additional adapter for simplicity purposes as we wish to pack the adapters neatly with the Prynt Cases. Rest assured, you will have the option to purchase them as soon as we begin retail and we will definitely keep our backers in mind for any discounts or promotions.

As for the question regarding connection - yes, the Prynt Case needs to be connected to your smartphone in order to use it. It is powered by its own internal battery and connects to your phone via Lightning/Micro-USB connection. We want to delivery a different experience to photography that involves being more than just a printer - which is why it is more of a smartphone case.

Lastly, as for the Prynt app, we are currently making great progress on it and backers should expect an update regarding the app in the next month or two.

I have the same question as Amir asked. I want to share the Prynt to another family member too which has a different phone model than mine. Is that possible for me to order the extra adapters in the same package rather than order it later?

    7. Amir on

@Creator, I meant within existing adapter models - why not allow backers to purchase a secondary adapter (in case we want to pass Prynt to another family member for example) and include it in the same package shipped for the KS delivery?
And @Dominic / @Creator where was it said that the Prynt MUST be connected to the phone? Does it draw power from the phone or works independently ? How is data transmitted ? (Though the innovation is remarkable and the execution seems very attractive, I still think it's a printer that "happens to be" connected as a case - not that there is anything wrong with that!!)
Oh... One more question - about the app and the short video feature - can we get an update on that? When will it be released etc.
      Thanks!

Dominik - Thanks for your support!

    9. Prynt 2-time creator on

Amir - Also, the iPhone 5 and 5S adapters will most likely be the same one. The rest of the phone models will each have its own adapter.

    10. Prynt 2-time creator on

Cheryl & Amir - We will be releasing the additional adapters on our website later in the year. Keep in mind that if you only need one adapter, you can change your phone model selection on BackerKit any time before we ship (simply edit your survey responses, and if you need to retrieve your BackerKit survey link again, visit prynt.backerkit.com).

I have read many comments in all the updates by now and first of all I have to say 'great work guys, amazing how you keep responding to everyone and how hard you are working to make everything happen'

Though I am really wondering of how many people just pledged without reading carefully or watched the campaign video. It was written several times that it is, till now, only possible for these few phones and that they work on other options in the future.. But for the first order there are only a few options available. And of course the phone has to be connected to the printer, as it was shown as well.
I really don't understand why people kept pledging without using the given information. I think it's not fair for the developers to pay them back, as they stated all needed information. Anyways, that's just my point of view.

Keep up the good work, can't wait for my case to arrive in August!

    12. Amir on

Will it be possible to purchase additional adapter as part of the final survey?
How is the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s adapters different (if at all?) - I believe the dimensions are identical more or less?
and... theoretically, does the prynt case have to be connected to the phone in order to work? (is it not basically a printer with optional attachment? (I suppose some may choose to keep their pledge if it's indeed like that)

Is it possible for me to add on the iPhone 6 adaptor to my purchase as well? I ticked iPhone 5S on the survey - but I would like an iPhone 6 adaptor.

San LeBlanc - Unfortunately, we don't have any news about the 6+ yet. We'll definitely let you all know if that happens!

      no case for 6 plus?

    16. Prynt 2-time creator on

Nghi - Thanks! We love your enthusiasm!

    17. Prynt 2-time creator on

Kathy - Unfortunately, that would result in backers receiving Prynt Cases that they can't use! If your phone is not on the list, please send us a private message on Kickstarter and we can issue you a full refund. On top of that, as a token of apology, please send an email to offers@pryntcases.com using your BackerKit email and we will give you a coupon code to purchase a Prynt Case in the future on our website at the Kickstarter price.

Chitwant - We'll be shipping in August (for early shipment) and October (for 2nd shipment).

    20. Cheri Gaul on

Excited! So IF you make an adapter for the 6Plus we can use it for both phones. Sweet!

Still no news for Galaxy S6?

    22. Kathy Vu on

I think you should change your survey in the device section to allow people to input the phones they actually have instead of having to choose iPhone or the one Android device you support. Great tech by the way!

    23. Chitwant on

Please tell when are you guys gonna ship the Prynt case?

    24. Justin McCraw on

Will you be making an adapter for the Samsung Galaxy S6? :D

    25. Nghi Tran on

I love that your team is diversity :) So amazing! I cannot wait til I hold a Prynt case in my hands
