My PROOF project began with a feeling. It started when I saw the original cast open the show on Broadway. I experienced a feeling beyond words. Throughout the entire production I was on the edge of my seat. The only time I remember moving was to wipe away the tears in my eyes. Aside from being transformed by the brilliant acting and remarkable storyline, the tears I shed that day were for me. I had found exactly what I wanted to do with my life, and what I experienced was just that.
GOAL: To produce and act in the play PROOF by David Auburn.
This Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play is about an enigmatic young woman, her controlling sister, their brilliant but unstable father, and an unexpected suitor. They are all pieces of a puzzle within the search for the truth behind a mysterious mathematical proof found in her father's possessions. A story about human relationships, PROOF suggests that developing trust and love can be as difficult, and just as uncertain, as establishing the truth.
"Proof is an exhilarating and assured new play by David Auburn that turns the esoteric world of higher mathematics literally into a back porch drama, one that is accessible and as compelling as a detective story." - Bruce Weber, New York Times
"PROOF surprises us with its aliveness...Mr. Auburn takes pleasure in knowledge...At the same time, he is unshowily fresh and humane, and he has written a lovely play." - The New York Observer

I believe in the arts, and in the power of story telling. I believe that expressing is a true form of humanity, and it's a way for us to learn. The purpose of this project has nothing to do with making money. It's sole purpose is to celebrate the power of the stage. To bring people together and to enable them to feel the magic that is PROOF. I plan to collaborate with passionate, creative, and like-minded people through this entire process. My vision is clear, and the opportunity to share this story with an audience in LA, would be a dream come true.
From the bottom of my determined heart, I thank you for your support.
