Typically, when you back a project on Kickstarter, you are backing an idea that needs to be developed from the very beginning. When you are dealing with a project that is starting from scratch you are typically going to need more money and time to establish a working version of your product. That is of course unless you are willing to put in significant time and money into the project prior to bringing it to Kickstarter and that’s exactly what we have done with Project Gorgon. We have already invested a significant amount of time and resources into development. We have based the campaign goal as the minimum amount to allow us to contract work for vital game functions such as an artist for optimized and improved graphics. You are funding Project Gorgon as a whole, and as the amount pledged goes up so does our ability to add more in-depth game features.
