If you missed the Kickstarter, but want to learn more about Stowaway 52 go to: http://tinyurl.com/stowaway52
Stowaway 52 is a choose your path gamebook in a deck of cards. You can start your adventure on any card, and on each card the choice you make tells you which card to go to next. The goal is to find the path through the adventure that visits all 52 cards.
You are onboard an alien ship that is on its way to attack Earth. You have to sneak around the ship to sabotage their plans while avoiding getting caught by the aliens.
Pick a random card to start on. Then you play like this:
On each card the scene or situation is described and you are presented with a couple of options as to how to proceed. You make your choice and then proceed onto the card indicated. Each card you visit is set aside. If you make a choice that requires you to go to a card that is already set aside, you lose. You got caught by the aliens, stuck in a room with no way out, or otherwise failed in your goal of stopping the alien attack. Depending on your choices, you take different paths around the ship, and the goal in Stowaway 52 is to find the path that visits each card exactly once.
You won't solve the adventure and visit all 52 cards in your first play, maybe not after dozens of plays--it depends on how good you are at discovering the secrets within Stowaway 52. Throughout the adventure there are clues and puzzles that you will find and figure out that will help you solve the adventure. Some of the hints will be more obvious and others may take you a while to find, but each one you find will bring you closer and closer to solving Stowaway 52.
There are two ways to score your plays. You could simply count the number of cards you visited, in that case a perfect score is 52. Or you could count the victory points listed on each card you visited. For instance, sabotaging a key part of the ship is worth more points than crawling through the air ducts. Either way you will have a high score to try to beat, in addition to trying to beat the whole game. You can play solitaire or work together. Share the game with your friends and family and compete to see who can get the high score.
Playing the main story and trying to solve the adventure is not the only game you can play with Stowaway 52.
Two Stowaways - A 2-player frantic race through the ship to get the furthest.
Too Many Stowaways - 2-5 players are chasing each other around the ship, try not to get caught!
Stowaway Rummy - A rummy variant using story segments as melds for up to 4 players.
Alien Treasure Hunting - A 2 Player game where one player hides treasures and the other player one tries to find the best one.

We need your support to make Stowaway 52 a reality. With your pledge of $15 you can get your own copy of Stowaway 52. Your pledge will not be charged until the campaign ends, and then only if we successfully reach our funding goal. When you make your pledge the system will also ask you to add on shipping depending on where you live.
United States...............add $0
European Union...........add $10
The rest if the world.....add $15
Note that these shipping rates are the same for all three main pledge levels and the premium pledge levels, so even if you want three decks you only need to pay for shipping once.
If you choose one of the limited premium rewards you get to name one of the game elements. You can choose whatever you want, but within reason, it must be approved: nothing vulgar or inappropriate. I will work with you to make sure what you want works.
If this stretch goal is unlocked, every copy of Stowaway 52 will include a Story Endings Card. Instead of running into a dead-end simply ending the game, you can use the story endings card to find out what happens. Based on how far you got and where you were when you lost, you will get one of the different possible endings.
If this stretch goal is unlocked, an new Exclusive Mini-Game will be made using the theme of Stowaway 52.
Stowaway 1 will be an pencil-and-paper adventure on one two-sided piece of paper using Project Danger's 1-Page Adventure game system. Unlike Stowaway 52, where you try to avoid the aliens, in Stowaway 1 you will battle the aliens on their home planet and try to stop the attack before it starts. Every backer(even at the $1 level) of this Kickstarter project will be receive a secret download link to a Print-And-Play of this Exclusive Mini-Game made just for our backers! You can learn more about 1 Page Adventures here: http://projectdanger.com/pages/1page
If this stretch goal is unlocked, every Kickstarter version of Stowaway 52 will get 5 extra item cards. These 5 cards represent each of the different items you can find and use on your adventure. With these cards, you can easily keep track of which items you found without having to use the story card that you found the item on.
Also there is another mini game you play with just these 5 cards!
Thank you for your time and consideration. And if this campaign is successful, good luck stopping the alien attack!
Risks and challenges
This is our first project, but this has been in the making for over a year. We feel confident that we will be able to produce and deliver on time. The production is already lined up. Our international shipping channels have been figured out. Things can and do go wrong, but we will be communicating via updates every step of the way so that all the backers of Stowaway 52 will know where the process is and when they can expect to start their own adventures.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
