Hello Backers,

From time to time, we try to mention other anime crowdfunding projects on Kickstarter to help show support for our small community of anime creators.

We would like to spotlight a project created by Yoshiyuki Kaneko called "Chuya-den - The Night and Day Chronicles". The project is being managed by Awesome Japan which has had a good deal of experience producing Kickstarter projects. Both Kaneko-san and Awesome Japan are very dedicated and passionate about pioneering crowded anime. Please have a look!

Hello backers,

As you know, we like to support the animation community within the Kickstarter ecosystem, so  we would like to show our support by mentioning a new project by LeSean Thomas called Cannon Busters. Much like Kick-Heart, the creative team is very international and diverse set of notable talents each with their own unique sense of style that will surely create something original and refreshing.

Supporting the Kickstarter Community

Hello everyone,

We would like to help show our support for fellow animation creators on Kickstarter. We are a small community, but we all share a common passion for creating new and innovative projects. Here are some other campaigns happening right not that we would like to bring to you attention:

Urbance

Our friends from Steambot have come up with a visually striking tv series called Urbance.

Here is the link to  Urbance (http://bit.ly/urbance). Rewards include a 168 page art book, the chance to be featured in the show as one of the main characters, and more. See the trailer below:

Steambot has offered a special promotion for Kick-Heart backers. We have been told that for anyone who pledges over $50 on Urbance, Steambot will send you an additional exclusive surprise reward for Kick-Heart backers only. All you need to do is send them a message with the promo code “KICK-HEART” after you’ve backed their project.

Art of Making “Santa Company” – A Complete Guide

Another campaign currently happening is a book on the art of making "Santa Company" which was also funded by Kickstarter. Here is a link to the project. Seems like a great way to learn about the process of making animation. Please have a look.

Anyhow, thanks again to all of you for supporting us. We hope to see more anime creators get involved in the future and make more cool projects like these.

Hello Kick-Heart Backers,

We have a quick announcement for anyone planning to attend this year's New York Comic Convention.

This Sunday, October 12th from 1:00pm, one of the producers of Kick-Heart will moderate a Q&A panel session for a project  called, "The KAKEHASHI Project – The Bridge for Tomorrow". Five up and coming Japanese animators will showcase their work as part of a cultural exchange program sponsored by the Japan Foundation .

In addition, fellow Kickstarter, Natasha Allegri of Bee and PuppyCat, will also join the presentation to talk about Bee and PuppyCat. Natasha is part of a group of U.S based animators who will travel to Japan as part of the exchange program.

For more info on the event, see link below:

Hope to see you there!
