First off, we want to say THANK YOU for taking the time to learn more about ASSET. We, at LionNFC, embrace the vision of designing everyday consumer products to be the sleekest and smartest they can be with the integration of modern technology.
The ASSET WALLET is constructed out of two ultra thin Aluminum 6061 grade plates. We chose high grade aluminum for the Asset because of its light weight (~ 1/3 the weight of steel), non-magnetic (RFID-resistant), and rust resistant properties. Each wallet is anodized with a bright metallic color.
It's Only 3.50mm Thin and Weighs 1.40 oz!
The Precise Cut
Our original idea for the Asset was a money clip, but we disliked that we had to remove everything to get the card or item you wanted most. Not anymore. With our hexagonal cutout finger groove, you can now easily access any card. Place your ID on top for example and when you get carded at a club, you can now easily pull it out, put it back, and be on your way to a fun night.
Slide your cards in easily with an internal beveled edge.
Throughout a one year period, we have visited numerous manufacturers and ran elastic tests to find the most durable and elastic bands that will last a long time.
By using a wider 1.5” band, we achieve security for your cards and the ability to hold those extra things we all carry.
What is NFC?
NFC or Near Field Communication is the ability to transfer data by establishing a radio communication with two devices by tapping them together. No batteries, no cords, no fuss!
The NFC Chip we use is made of high quality plastic. It is a high capacity, high range chip, that allows transfer even by tapping through your jeans. No need to take your ASSET out of your pocket.
WHAT'S BETTER THAN ONE NFC CHIP? TWO NFC CHIPS!!
Program each chip with personal or business information you wish to share. For example, program one side to launch your LinkedIn profile, and the other to share your personal contact.
By partnering with TRIGGER, one of the most popular NFC programming apps available, the ASSET Wallet capabilities are endless. Their app gives you the ability to open your favorite applications, or even create a group of functions.
For example, simply program your chip to turn on your Bluetooth, turn off Wifi, and open Pandora. Now when you enter your car, simply tap your NFC enabled phone on ASSET and go! The uses are infinite and best of all... it can be tailored to your life.
What else can NFC do?
Turn on Airplane Mode, Set Alarm, Turn on Quite Mode, Turn on Driving Mode, Bluetooth On/Off, Launch Calendar Events, Facebook Check In, Foursquare Check In, GPS On/Off, Unlock Screen, Open a Website, Launch an app, Place A Call, Send a Text Message, Send a Tweet, Wifi On/Off...
And much, much more!
From Idea to Life
It's always a rare opportunity that an idea can turn into a reality. Throughout our adventure, we have reworked and redesigned multiple times before we finally found our ideal design.
Will the NFC Work with Your Phone?
The ASSET Wallet works with any NFC enabled Android, Windows, or BlackBerry phone. Current iPhones do not support NFC but can work with NFC enabled adapters and cases. It is very possible though that the iPhone 6 will have NFC...read more.

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Security
Worried about RFID thieves? Don’t be. The Asset completely blocks RFID signals. Safe, stylish and simple! Radio Frequency Identity Theft is a form of identity theft using wireless machine to receive your credit card information in close proximity. With the Asset's aluminum plates, the frequency is completely blocked and you are safe from RFID thieves.
Come join us to bring Asset to full production!
Your pledge will go towards materials, manufacturing, assembly, and shipping on a large scale. If the goal is met and barring any setbacks, everyone who loves technology and simplicity will have an ASSET!

Risks and challenges
We have been working very closely with our manufacturer for a year now. After having gone through several prototypes and design changes, we are ready for our first production run. We have all the pieces in place and don't anticipate any setbacks after the campaign ends. If all goes well, we anticipate the first orders to go out as early as September. However, if something wrong does happen, we will work night and day to solve the issue.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Thank you for your interest in our wallet.
The NFC chip has a glossy water-resistant finish so it can be used in most environments. The band is washable. The color of the plates is hard anodized so it won't rub off. Think of ipod colors and how they are finished.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
The dimensions of the wallet are: 86mm x 58mm. I apologize I couldn't find a specific measurement for Canadian credit cards other than the standard size of, 85.60mm × 53.98 mm.
Apple decided not to put NFC technology onto the current iPhones. There are rumors, however, that the iPhone 6 will have NFC. There are also adaptors for current iPhones that give it NFC capabilities.
Remember though, even if you can't use NFC, it is still a unique wallet. It's very thin, simple, stylish, and blocks RFID.
Hey guys, how many cards would this wallet hold? The wallet looks really slick, I'm backing it as we speak. Good luck for the rest of the campaign! Cheers.
We tested the Asset with up to 10 cards, but it can certainly hold more. If you plan on having that many cards inside, we suggest you place your two most popular cards on the top and bottom, which are the easiest cards to access no matter how many are inside.
Thank you for your interest!
Just to clarify. Do you now have 2 bands included with the Asset and you can pay 2$ extra for a third one?
That is correct. We now have 2 bands included with the wallet. If you need extra bands, you can add $2 per band.
