I served as a Navy SEAL for over 10 years, taking part in deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan. During our missions, we would camo up, travel to our hide site, and execute our orders. However, by the time we made it there, we’d already sweated off most of the paint.
Predator Warpaint was born out of a glaring need to make a better product in an industry that has failed to innovate. Current camo products leaves you exposed to the sun. They do nothing to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. You get burned which can lead to skin cancer down the line. The problem was obvious, camo face paint should do more than just conceal.
The answer was simple. We leveraged the latest in sunscreen technology to provide a superior product that protects the user from the sun and doesn’t need to be reapplied during high perspiration activities.
We created Predator Warpaint.
Created by a Navy SEAL, Predator Warpaint is the most effective camo face paint, period. Once you put it on, it stays on and doesn’t come off until you take it off.
The high quality formula is water resistant, sweat resistant, non-migrating, and durable during high perspiration activities. Made with SPF 50, Predator Warpaint protects your skin from harmful UV rays and helps prevent burns and skin cancer.
- Mil-Spec Camo For Military
- Woodland Camo For Hunters and Survivalists
In effort to produce a military-grade camouflage face paint that also protected the skin beneath it, we worked with Navy SEALs in San Diego, California to produce a product that met their standards of performance.
Predator Warpaint is formulated to perform in the environments where our modern warriors operate. Whether you’re in the military or hunter. Predator Warpaint is for you. Military-grade face paint designed by Warriors for Warriors.
By Warriors, For Warriors isn’t just something we say; some of our nation’s most elite warriors will be preparing for battle using our product.
Our number one goal is to get Predator Warpaint into the hands of every active duty service member. Though we have made some significant progress exposing our new product to the military, we know that it is still going to take time to get it into every service member’s hands. We are providing the option for backers to purchase Predator Warpaint and we will donate it on their behalf to Active Duty military personnel. This option will not only reassure our Kickstarter backers that their money is directly benefiting our military, but it will also expedite the adoption of a new camo product that will keep members of our military healthier. The 'Predator Protects' packages enable everyone to get behind our brand to support those men and women serving this great nation.
Meet the Co-founder Nick Norris
Nick served in varied combat leadership roles in both Iraq and Afghanistan, fought alongside US Army Infantry and USMC Infantry, and ultimately concluded his Active Duty service as the Officer In Charge of SQT. Nick used camo face paint during his training and deployment but rarely thought about the need to apply sunscreen in conjunction with the camo. The result was often burnt and blistered skin that had been hidden under layers of traditional camo face paint which he falsely assumed would provide protection from the sun. He identified a problem, formulated a solution, and vetted the demand for a better product through his relationships in the SEAL Teams, which resulted in the creation of Predator Warpaint.
Created by a Navy SEAL, We, understand the need to protect and conceal and what it takes to perform at your best.
Designed for an outdoors lifestyle, Predator Warpaint is completely odorless, helping you get closer to game without being detected. Be a more effective hunter by concealing yourself with the highest quality grade camo face paint.
We have built a product that clearly solves a problem, we see the opportunity to innovate in this space, and we intend to continue to improve our product to deliver a superior camo face paint option to our customers.
Risks and challenges
We know there can always be hurdles along the way during product development. Our experience has allowed us to mitigate much of the risk, but it still exists. We will always be transparent with our community about challenges, including these:
Ship Date: We are confident we will ship by the projected dates, as we have already begun the conversation with manufacturers. While there is always a chance that things will take longer than planned, we believe our experience will mitigate this.
Product Changes: As we refine Predator Warpaint based on additional community feedback and more product testing, slight changes may be made. We'll only make changes that enhance the product experience.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
