Hello Agents! This is actually some non-Cognition related news, but is an opportunity some of you may be interested in.
We're looking for some help beta testing an unannounced title from our Publishing branch. This one is in the action/adventure-RPG genre and we are primarily looking for PC users right now. If you're interested, please email Wayne from the QA team at email@example.com.
As some of you may have already noticed, your Cognition builds have big updates from the stores today, and here's why: today is the release of Cognition: Game of the Year Edition!
Thanks to the amazing support of our community, Cognition won SIX 2013 Reader's Choice Aggie Awards this year, including Best Adventure Game! In celebration, we've added a ton of new bonus content - director commentary, concept art, videos, outtakes, and more! Plus some bug fixes while we were at it. :)
If you've got Cognition in our store, Steam or GOG, you'll be notified about an update by email or when you login. Heads up, it is a large download! (Because we added so much stuff!)
We hope you enjoy the new edition of the game and thank as always for your amazing support of Phoenix Online & Cognition - it started here with all of you on Kickstarter!
Today, I bring exciting news that Moebius: Empire Rising, designed by Jane Jensen (our very own Cognition Story Consultant) and developed by Phoenix Online, releases today! I'm sure many of you already know about the game, but for those who don't, here's the scoop:
In Moebius, first in a series of new paranormal adventures, you play Malachi Rector, an expert in antiquities whose photographic memory and eye for detail transform people and clues into interactive puzzles. In the game, you'll travel the world using Malachi’s unique deductive powers to analyze suspects, make historical connections, and uncover space and time's secret truth.
As a thank you to the community who helped make this game possible, we're offering a 20% off discount on Moebius in the Phoenix Online Store! For the next two weeks, use the code COGMOEB20OFF during checkout, and feel free to share the code with friends, family, and fellow adventurers!
Once again, thanks for your support and being the best community we could ever ask for. You rock!
As a very special thank you to the community that has made Cognition, Moebius, Quest for Infamy and other upcoming games in our publishing line up possible, we’ll be hosting a meet and greet at this year’s GDC in San Francisco on Thursday, March 20th, 10 AM - 12 noon, where fans can join us to meet Jane Jensen and the devs from Phoenix Online and Infamous Quests, plus try out the demos for Moebius, Quest for Infamy, The Last Door, Lost Civilization, and the Gabriel Knight Remake!
If you'll be GDC or just in the area and want to join us for this event, please register at the following link for more information:
We look forward to seeing you there!
