US Super Early Adopters, Early Adopters and Limited Edition Backers Portals Have Shipped

On Friday we completed shipping of almost 1,000 Portals to our backers in the US.  This includes all of the Super Early Adopters that had requested black Portals, all of the Early Adopters, and over 170 of the Limited Edition red backers.

We are expecting to receive the tracking information from UPS on Monday and will be sending this out in individual emails.

      I just got mine! I'd heard they were going out this time, so I was excited to get it. Mildly annoyed I ordered red and got white.

      Still waiting for my router as well. Early adopter. Was told it would be expedited the beginning of last week (Oct 17), but nothing. I'm not even getting responses to emails. Very unhappy with the customer support and lack of communication.

      I have not received any information on my router. I was told I should be receiving a tracking number on 17 October, and customer service has not replied to my emails since that day.

      I'm sure you didn't do this intentionally, but the "limited edition red" sponsor category also had "Early Adopter" in its name so when you said "Early Adopters" would be getting their Portals last week, I assumed I would me getting mine in that timeframe.

      I've been putting off replacing a failing router until my first Portal arrives so I'd appreciate an update. I didn't realize going with red would delay delivery.

      I can't get a response for a tracking code. Plus, where I live UPS would have had a package to me by now if it was shipped last week.

      I received half of my order - I was supposed to have gotten both the black and a red router. I only got the red! What do I do now?

      I received an email indicating that my Portal was recently shipped the message also included a tracking number. The tracking number is incorrect and I cannot track the package. FYI.

      I received my tracking number, but the UPS site says "The number you entered is not a valid tracking number.".

      I quadruple checked I had the right tracking number too. I'm guessing the Portal will show up soon since it was shipped last Friday...

      Hi - received my Portal on Monday and today decided to install it. Was a bit apprehensive of installing it on a weekday (Typically installing new gadget takes time) and then when I went to your website there was not an installation guide/video (or at least I could figure it out). But - I just followed the simple instruction that came with the box, and you know what. It worked like a charm (No issue).

      Happy with it... so far. The Red is as you showed, wished it was a lot more Ferrari Red... but that is minor as my router is hidden/not visible.

      I'm still waiting for tracking. UPS does not take Columbus Day off, they aren't a federal agency, so that isn't the reason.

      I just wanted to say that I have back several KS projects and this one,by far, has been the best managed and communicated one yet. This is how a KS should be managed and you guys have raised the bar for other KS projects. Congratulations. I can't wait to receive my Portal.

      I did not get my portal, but you are just the best. I backed more than 15 projects and your communication is just the best. I do not know how the portal will work or work at all, but the way you handled the project is absolutely exemplary, no matter what some of the other backers might say. (they probably backed no other project before). Very happy to help you out and bring this project to life.

      Please do not use UPS to ship to Canada as they charge totally outrageous brokerage fees to clear things through customs.

      No brokerage fees have to be paid when items are shipped by USPS from the US.
