As Promised! Exclusive Video Interview with Iolo and Lord British!

We promised that when we hit the halfway point of our Kickstarter goal, we would post an exclusive Video Interview with Iolo, the beloved Bard, and Companion of the Avatar from the Ultima Series. Here it is!

    1. Creator James on March 12, 2013

Just got around to watching this and was amazed. Would be great to see some of the other companions in real life and brought into the new game.

    2. Creator High Admiral Doji on March 10, 2013

Does anyone know if there's a Stones version available on iTunes? Or if there's an MP3 version somewhere?

    3. Creator Starmourn on March 10, 2013

That was awesome! That said, I think with today's tech, Richard Garriot should be implementing Iolo's original duck idea. I mean, it's the very least you can do for Iolo!

    4. Creator Jon Ray on March 10, 2013

I'm all for a "Iolo soundtrack" contribution stretch goal!!!

    5. Creator fouytr on March 10, 2013

Iolo soundtrack contribution stretch goal anybody? ;)

    6. Creator Oberon on March 10, 2013

I am confused from the latest video. He was explaining the sale model saying the game will be a digital download which is the trial version. You then purchased the game to unlock it? Was he talking about how they will sell after kickstarter, when the game is complete or are we only getting a trial version with our pledges?

    7. Creator OptimusEric on March 9, 2013

THAT SONG. it brings back memories.....

    8. Creator Paul Carr on March 9, 2013

Just got around to watching the video. He plays Stones on a lute! I'm totally geeking out!

    9. Creator Andrew Darovich on March 9, 2013

      Ho eyo he hum!

    10. Creator Renee M. on March 9, 2013

      Loved this! Thank you.

    11. Creator Walter Cecchini on March 9, 2013

Iolo playing the lute captures the feeling that Richard has infused in his games.... This is truly great. Everyone should have an Iolo in their life. I'm jealous!

    12. Creator Josh Solomon on March 9, 2013

Annnnd hearing Iolo play has forced me to put in another $40 :).

    13. Creator Dave blanchard on March 9, 2013

That is so who was dupre mirrored after?

    14. Creator Brandon Gagne on March 9, 2013

If I wasn't already sold, the idea of having master Iolo on board in any capacity would bring me running.

    15. Creator Chooi on March 9, 2013

I was so upset when Lord Blackthorn killed Iolo when your party was caught! Great to see him in real life, even cooler to see that he really makes crossbows

    16. Creator Blackstaff on March 9, 2013

Great ! This is what Lord British is all about.

    17. Creator Taziar on March 9, 2013

Who cares about the video game, I want more Lute and X-bows. I would love to have an authentic-looking wooden crossbow that actually works. I may have to start saving up for one...

    18. Creator Tamara Ryan on March 9, 2013

Oh no! They're not going to eat that duck are they?

    19. Creator Igor Kurtes on March 9, 2013

      nice video :) thx much.

    20. Creator Paul Carr on March 9, 2013

Wait... I hadn't thought about that... The old companions could appear in the game, couldn't they?

    21. Creator Stiler Orion on March 9, 2013

Hearing him play the Stones theme brought back some great memories of UO, among others in this great interview/discussion.

    22. Creator Tyler Renelle on March 9, 2013

Omg. The real faces behind the characters of my childhood. This is flipping amazing, Iolo was my favorite!
