Soda Pop Miniatures X Kingdom Death!

This Twilight Knight Pinup crossver is available now through the Super Dungeon Explore: Forgotten King Kickstarter. Following the Campaign, she will be available direct from Sodapop Miniatures and Kingdom Death online via their web stores. She will also be made available at events and trade shows.

This crossover does not include any promo rules for use in Kingdom Death:Monster, but I reserve the right to add them at a later date if I so choose! hehe.

We have modified our original agreement with Soda Pop Miniatures and now the Kingdom Death:Monster Candy & Cola crossover will be granted the same availability as the Twilight Knight Pinup crossover.

Now I shall scuttle off and resume work. Next update might include the plastic tree and the slender man!

@ Nick Starr : same here, I can't wait for the next update, hoping for only good news on shipping dates and issues.

    2. John H. on April 20, 2014

@Atro - I'm sure the Twilight Knight will be fairly "balanced" for SDE play. I'm not sure you'd play SDE characters in the KD:M world - they're just completely different.

    3. John H. on April 20, 2014

FWIW, SPM's Super Dungeon Explore : the Forgotten King closed over $1.15M total. #7 among tabletop games (excluding terrain and minis-only). They ran a great campaign, and should do quite well.

SDE's Twilight Knight will be made available sometime in 2015, after the KS backers get their stuff first (starting as early as Dec. 2014, assuming no delay). I'm not sure how much will go retail, but you should be able to order from SPM's website at some point.

    4. Nick Starr on April 19, 2014

It's been a mouth scene the last update, and that was a small one at that. I'm hoping the next one is THE BIG ONE we all are hoping for, and hope it's soon.

    5. Pride365 on April 14, 2014

@TABART You will when the game comes out they said no exclusives

    6. Tacticactus on April 13, 2014

I'm sur that SDE is a great game but I don't want (or I can't....) pledge for this. I' m a great fan of Adam & his team work, does a possibility exist to just order this item ?

I wouldnt worry about your response speed, just keep putting regular updates here and thats all we ask for.
P.S. I messaged Wrath of Kings over 2 months ago and stiil have not had a reply.

I just want to say I really like your crossovers Adam. Please keep it up! :) Looking forward to KD:M

One in Myth, one in SDE...makes me a happy camper. Only Arcadia Quest mssing ;)

    10. Kingdom Death 4-time creator on March 25, 2014

@Atro, Super Dungeon and KD:M are very different games, I can't really figure out a way to appropriately compare power levels. I would imagine her SDE incarnation would be weaker tho, since she is meant to be part of a party. Also you know, being chibi and all.

    11. Kingdom Death 4-time creator on March 25, 2014

@Matthew, I have found your message and replied. Sorry about that! I apologize If I don't get back to people in a timely fashion. My communication will get smoother in May.

Adam, I messaged you weeks ago and I havent gotten a response. Kinda silly for you to tell Paladin that there are many ways to contact you when you are actually very hard to communicate with.

    13. Atro on March 24, 2014

That should be stat block not stack block.

    14. Atro on March 24, 2014

Will her power level be internally consistent with her power level in the kindgom: death universe or will her translated stack block be altered to make her balanced in the Super Dungeon Explore universe? Also would KD universe heroes in general be stronger or weaker than those heroes in Super Dungeon Explore heroes?

I don't mind if she's depowered to fit into Super Dungeon Explore (easily explained by whatever mechanism transported her to the SDE universe weakening her) but powering her up is a bit harder for me to swallow.

    15. John H. on March 24, 2014

@Paladin - if you don't believe Adam's commitment to the KS, you should depledge.

    16. Kingdom Death 4-time creator on March 23, 2014

If you have any misgivings or anything you'd like to direct at me personally, there are a myriad of ways you can contact me directly. I try to respond to everything in a timely fashion, tho I admit at times it can be very challenging. Thank you in advance for your understanding. ( Please treat your fellow backers with respect. )

    17. Michael Pruden on March 22, 2014

I know Adam is working hard to produce this game and I'm sure he's working 16hr days... Are they all on this project... No. I don't believe that for a second. His company is VERY small, more likely he is spending a couple hrs at most on this project and the rest is to other projects (like the pinup set in, running his online store... Paying his workers). Anybody that's run any small business could understand the long hrs... But all on one project... I don't think so. ;) Keep up the hard fight Adam!

    18. Pride365 on March 22, 2014

@Paladin Seriously? What are you like 12? Are you even allowed to be on this website with out parental supervision? Did you have to steal mommies credit card to even pledge?

      Make me?

    20. Isrious on March 22, 2014

@ biggles head to youtube and type in Super Dungeon Explore watch it played. It's a series of videos that basically walk you through a 3 hero game - worked great for teaching me the basics and flow of the system

    21. Pride365 on March 21, 2014

@Paladin This is the best run KS from the best company in miniatures so go tout your angst somewhere else.

    22. biggles on March 21, 2014

lil off subject bt i have the original SDE any i love everything about it but if anyone knows a site or video i can learn to play it better worst part about trying to get friends to join a game is when your still first learning it yourself haha

    23. Daniel M
      on March 20, 2014

FYI, if anyone is confused by my last post, Paladin was called Shane and changed his name.

    24. Jake Young on March 20, 2014

@Paladin well if you are that unhappy i am sure you could ask for a refund. People are naturally defensive of the things they like and love and many of us have bought into The Kingdom death vision, and absolutely do not want him to compromise on quality.

The recent Kingdom death hard plastic pinup box set is indication that these are thee best plastic miniatures that have ever been produced. For my money i am willing to wait to get the best.

      on March 20, 2014

@Shane Keep in mind the estimated ship date was for the base game. Dozens of stretch goals were reached, which means more time was needed for development, playtesting, and production. With the amount of extra content, I am amazed he is on track for Q2 2014 to be honest. He must be doing 16 hour days.

    28. Shane (CoffeeGnerd)
      on March 20, 2014

Calling BS on something that's not even gone to production yet receiving "16-hour work days" for a year and a half. Estimated delivery should have been listed as November 2015.

    29. Daniel M
      on March 20, 2014

@Andrew Personally I am assuming shipping will start in June. If it starts earlier it will be a pleasant surprise. Considering the number and complexity of orders, shipping will probably take at least a month, so some peoples stuff may not actually ship until July. That is just me assuming worst case, who knows it might end up all shipping early.

    30. Alan Garvey on March 20, 2014

@ Herrflik - considering the fact that SPM and CMON have partnership miniatures with KD:M I think it a little unfair and potentially compromising to KD to slight one company in favour of another on this KS page. Keep it where it belongs, please.

    31. John H. on March 20, 2014

@Adam - thanks for the update. Please don't burn yourself out.

    32. biggles on March 19, 2014

tree and slender man!!! oh man need a doctor haha. plus im big fan of super dungeon explorer so thanks for this

    33. ALDI on March 19, 2014

I like the Gorm idea... I also wish that soda pop would make a male KD twilight knight mini to go along with the female twilight knight (or chibi-asize one of the LE KD:M male minis) as they need many more male heroes to even have a 50:50 female to male hero ratio!

    34. Herrflik on March 19, 2014

non exclusiveness is a huge bonus and thanks to Adam and Soda Pop for going down that route, now CMoN are out the picture I think Soda Pop can really shine.

Also Adam, it can't be easy with so many pledges and a massively successful kickstarter to try and keep on track as well as running your online store so thanks for putting in those long hours, we get a little cranky about timelines because we are so excited to build these miniatures and play your labour of love :)

    35. Pride365 on March 19, 2014

      This is totally awesome!

Also Adam we all know you are hard at work and we totally appreciate it!

    37. Isrious on March 19, 2014

Way back when it was an update from my relic knights pledge informing me about the survivor candy figure that led me to discover KD and all its amazing horrors. Funny but awesome to see a chibi twilight knight in one of my favorite board games ^^

    38. HaleysRedComet on March 19, 2014

@KD - We know you work hard, keep being awesome.

    39. Kingdom Death 4-time creator on March 19, 2014

@Randi berg, This miniature was produced by Soda Pop Miniatures, including both the artistic rendering and the sculpture. We are merely doing our part in the agreement that was made back during the KD:M campaign. I can assure you, we are working long 16+ hour days to finish this project and deliver a game that worthy of its expectations.

    40. Jason Massatt on March 19, 2014

@Andrew chibi gorm seems way less exciting than chibi wet nurse.

    41. Jason Massatt on March 19, 2014

@Randi and Ashley the development of new stuff in no way takes time from the production.. if fact the delay of production led to extra time on the development side allowing for the extra bits and bobs we're getting as a bonus (I assume taking up some of the empty space on existing sprues).

    42. Andrew Hayford
      on March 19, 2014

      Chibi Gorm? :)

My google-fu says Q2 is April, May and June. Not sure if that definition matches Poots'

Randi berg on March 19, 2014

I agree with Ashley. My advice would be to stop working on new products and finish the original orders! This "Christmas present" is starting to feel like it's not even going to make it into the Easter basket, or May basket, or trick or treat bag.... You get the idea.

    46. Ashley Dennis on March 19, 2014

This great and all, but seriously can we get an update saying our game is being shipped?

    47. John H. on March 19, 2014

@Adam - I hope you're enjoying SDE as much as I do. The Forgotten King looks to be a blast, and I look forward to seeing it when it comes out. Thanks again!

    48. Iain McGregor on March 19, 2014

SRLY? I have become the harbinger of new stuff. New stuff appears within hours of me buying stuff... ~le sigh~

    49. Jason Massatt on March 19, 2014

@Adam plastic tree, slenderman, and gorm armor???? ^.~
