The PolyShaper Team is back again. After an intense summer of hard work to keep the promises of the PolyShaper Oranje batches, here we are with a new product: the PolyShaper Azul. The main difference is the increased dimensions (100x50 cm of working area and up to 10 cm of thickness). This was a mandatory requirement for a machine that wants to be thought for professionals. Moreover we added some little foresights suggested by you backers. This time we are trying a fast Kickstarter campaign in order to make you happy receiving the goods as soon as possible and to us the possibility to go to the market in a restricted lapse of time, just after your feedbacks.
An important matter of this campaign is that we put a batch of Oranjes aside for who wants to buy this awesome machine at the Kickstarter special price. See the campaign, at the link below, for more details about this machine.
Probably the most important news is the adding of a rotating plane that allows you to realize solids of revolution. This add-on is controlled with the software we will provide, namely the Inkscape plug-in and ShaCo (the software to control the machine).
Many of you asked for a stand alone solution to control our machines. In other words, do not constrain a computer during the machining operation. So decided to add a tablet in order to control the machine. It will allow you to control the Azul and the Orange as well with the pre-installed software. Anyway, you have to connect the machine to the tablet through the USB cable.
The extended anchor system is thought for who needs to work with big thin polystyrene sheet. This is new clever system we designed just for this purpose.
Here below the simple steps to make something special with your PolyShaper machine.
Risks and challenges
Our challenges, this time, are related to the short duration of this campaign. The aim is to give, to our backers, the possibility to receive the Polyshaper Azul in few days.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
