First of all you can read web version of the Rulebook here.
The web version lacks background image and some arts to make the file lighter. But if you do not want to rummage through the rulebook. We will give you a short version of what you can expect from our game.
To start the game: open the campaign book that you want to play (single mission page, if you want a single mission). You`ll see story text block (that gives info about what`s happening), and rules text block (that tells how to prepare you heroes for the game).
Most of the time players must choose their heroes, take their starting equipment and get ready for action. The campaign book will tell you what mission you will start from. Just go to that page.

At the start of the mission there are: story text block, setup rules, and special rules for this mission (for example: one of the gnolls will try to run away, or there will be an enemy reinforcement every turn, or there will be NPC that will help you, etc).There also will be Victory conditions.

The game is turn-based. And the turn sequence depends on Agility of a creature. More agile folk – act first. When every creature on the game tile finished their turns – round ends.

Hero can make several types of activities (in any order): MOVE, ACTION, BONUS ACTION. Move is pretty self explanatory. ACTION can be used: to MOVE again, to make an Attack, to pick up equipment from the ground or operate some quest items (and some more stuff). BONUS ACTION is very special type of activity. BONUS ACTION can be used: to activate abilities or skills of the hero. Some powerful abilities can be activated only by spending BONUS ACTION and ACTION simultaneously. To make things straight: Agnette starts her turn close to the wounded Lars. She spends BONUS ACTION to heal him. Then moves (MOVE) to closest enemy and whacks him with her mace! (ACTION)
At the start of every round you draw one Fortune and one Tactic cards. Fortune cards stands for pure luck. Sometimes luck is on your side –you`ll get some advantages (or enemies will have troubles). Sometimes luck choose to stand against you. Tactic cards represent AI of your foes. Most of the time enemies will try to harm heroes, but when they will have choice, which hero to harm – they look up to Tactic cards. Some tactic cards completely change behavior of your foes: wounded gnolls will try to run away, scouts will use more defensive tactics, veterans will hit harder –and so on.
Your enemies have some hierarchy. And you will find scratches on their shields and pauldrons – they are not just scratches, they are Roman numerals. So when a group of gnoll archers activates – the lowest number will act first.

When you complete the mission, you will find the victory outcome text block that tells you what you will get (loot, level up, how many wounds your heroes can heal). Then there will be the story text block (that can be different depending on how you manage the mission). Depending on your actions –you will have a choice, what to do next. Sometimes you can go shopping before moving further, most of the times you will have at least two choices, what your next task will be (sometimes there will be no choice. For example: when you failed to capture and interrogate a particular enemy – you lack in clues, and some paths are closed to you).

At the end of the kickstarter campaign, we`ll contact you with precise shipping price. Price will depend on the amount of add-ons and stretch goals in your order. The cost of the delivery may increase, but we will put all our efforts to make sure that it does not exceed the estimated price from the table.
The European Union, USA, Canada, Australia will be “shipping Friendly”. Backers from these countries will not pay import taxes.
