A Tale of Two Mediums
In addition to being a comic creator, I (Preston) also write screenplays as well as produce feature film. Since I used the beautiful Juliette Kida's likeness for our main character, I also decided to produce a music video she features in to help bring the story to life.
Some of the reward tiers for this campaign feature music video rewards, in addition to the comic book rewards. Backers have the opportunity to receive exclusive behind the scenes content, in addition to other rewards.
Don't let the 20's feel fool you! Guinevere And The Divinity Factory spins it's tale in the modern times. Our story exists in a dark urban-fantasy world that has similarities to our own, but many stark differences. All nature of supernatural creatures exist in this world: mages, ghost, and demons to name but a few.
Enter our main character, Guinevere... not her actual name. You see, in a world of magic and wizards, a mage doesn't go by her real name. That would make it too easy to be targeted by the unscrupulous. So she's adopted the name "Guinevere" to hide her background, and cover her small town roots.
However, our protagonist's untrained magical abilities leave her vulnerable to the dangerous supernatural predators of this world. She needs to find a way to master her abilities if she is to be anything but a liability in the dark world of our story.
She must undertake the Hero's Journey.
Guinevere And The Divinity Factory #1 gives you 23 full-colour pages of story, with art from Rod Luper (pencils), Diana Greenhalgh (inks), Blond (colors) and lettering by Kel Nuttall.
The book is available with two covers:
The regular cover with art by Rod Luper (pencils), Diana Greenhalgh (inks), and Blond (colors).
And the Kickstarter exclusive variant cover, which will only be available to our backers. Featuring art by Paolo Pantalena (pencils), Diana Greenhalgh (inks) and Blond (colors).
