About this project
Updates: Check the updates tab above to see our interview with news 6 here in Tulsa, OK and for some behind the scenes clips. We'll be constantly updating our Kickstarter and Facebook page as the production moves along.
Where is the money going?
$7,500 is the minimum amount that it would take to realize our film as we envision it. As of right now, this is how our budget is laid out:
All prosthetics, costumes and makeup: $4,120 - We have to purchase a large amount of prosthetics to last the entirety of the shoot for all of our cast.
Actor compensation (i.e. food/gas): $1,500 - Our actors are dedicating their weekends to starting very early in the morning and enduring hours of makeup and prosthetics application, driving out to various locations, and working through long shoot days. Since we cannot afford to pay them anything substantial, the least we can do is provide them with a breakfast and lunch.
Crew compensation: $1,000 - Our small makeup and prosthetics crew is going to have to work long hours too, starting early in the morning, spending hours applying prosthetics to our actors, being on set in case of any mishaps (i.e. torn mask, etc.) and removing it all at the end of the day.
Prosthetic supplies (i.e. adhesives/paints): $475
Light Sets: $410 - We already own (or can borrow) all of the equipment it would require to make this film as we envision it, except for the light sets. This is the only gear purchase that we would need to make this film.
What if we exceed our Kickstarter goal?
Any amount that exceeds our goal goes right back into the production. We would love to be able to pay our actors and crew for the massive amount of time and energy they are putting into this project.
If we happen to exceed our goal by a massive amount, like doubling it, it will allow us to significantly increase the film's production value. This would mean we'd be able upgrade some of our gear or even add more cameras to our shoot. This, too, would help the production run smooth and allow us to get the film out to you in a timely manner.
