Oh Hai Weekend!

The Weekend is for Gaming!

Last weekend we did a little role-playing with the new 5th Edition D&D.  It was my first time trying out the new system and I enjoyed pretty well.  It doesn't beat Dungeon Crawl Classics by Goodman Games.  Not by a long shot.  That's really my jam!

Tomorrow I think we'll do a few board and card games followed by Bad Movie Night.  I haven't decided which ones though.

What will you folks be playing this weekend?

- Cheers!

So we didn't even get to game, one of fellow players had to work, so we just watched bad movies! Some better than other, but overall they were pretty terrible.

It was more a radio show produced by Minnesota Public Radio. They did sketches, some interviews, and My Brightest Diamond sang a few songs. He was fantastic. So was My Brightest Diamond. The encore she played still has me in chills.

Where'd you see Neil Gaiman speak?

Last night was 13th Age. I love DCC for its heady to get this you need to fight for it attitude and old school zaniness. I love 13th age as I can usually run it with almost zero prep.

Tonight we took a break from all that to see Neil Gaiman speak. I will probably solo free play tonight when I get home. Tomorrow is probably for Borderlands.

@David Nice! I've seen that on shelves, but never played it. Seems like it'd be up my alley.
