Sitting Ducks Gallery is a hysterically fun, stick-it-to-your-neighbor, line manipulation game invented by Keith Meyers. Sitting Ducks is reminiscent of the classic carnival-style, midway shooting galleries, where players are trying to take out as many ducks as possible. Players move ducks and targets, take aim, and eventually eliminate other players’ ducks using a variety of humorous Action Cards, while trying to keep their own safe. The goal is to be the last duck in the pond!
Introducing: Customized Ducks! You can now make your Sitting Ducks Deluxe uniquely yours by choosing your own ducks for the Duck Deck! Customize your game by adding on (see Add-Ons) a set of 6 (matching) ducks of your choosing - and play with different ducks each game!
More new ducks just added!
You can even add your own text to the card, to make it truly unique. Add your name, a friend's name or family name or give it as a gift! There is no limit to the number of customized ducks that you can add.
For example, if you’d like to play with Duck Vader, you can Add On a set of 6 Duck Vaders, and, if you’d like, add your name (or some other text) right onto the card (a). So, for our example, pretend your name is John and you’d like your Duck Vader Cards to read, “Darth John.” We’ll put that on your specialized cards for you! Or just leave it without the text (b).
Another great aspect of the Customized Duck Deck cards is that they allow you to add more players to the game! Add one set to play up to seven players, and add a second set to play up to eight!
In Sitting Ducks, each player gets their own group of ducks. Those ducks are shuffled together and form the Duck Deck, which then become the Duck line.
The Duck line is always in flux - when a Duck is removed; the other ducks move forward to fill the gap. Certain cards can move the line forward, backwards or rearrange ducks in the line in your favor or your opponents. With the right cards, players may also move and manipulate targets to try to keep their own Ducks safe.
Eventually, you’ll get caught snoozing and you will surely lose some of your ducks.
Lose all of your ducks, and you can no longer win the game. But, one of the most fun aspects of Sitting Ducks is when all of your ducks have been eliminated from the game. Although you won’t win, you’ll still get a chance to exact revenge on the opponents who took you out and play Action Cards for the rest of the game! The last player to have a duck in the water is the winner!
Here's a quick video explaining the gameplay:
Since its original release, Sitting Ducks Gallery has received great reviews and international attention. The Game has received high honors including awards such as Major Fun, Golden Geek and Fairplay!
"The game (for 3-6 players, ages 10 and older, with 20-30 minutes to devote to something significantly fun) is humorously illustrated and well-made. We loved the look and feel of the cards and were taken by the cleverness of the simulated shooting gallery...
"It’s most definitely a competitive game. Basically, you’re trying to shoot everyone else’s ducks, hoping, in the mean time, to duck everyone else’s shots. One of the things we appreciated most about the game was that even if all your ducks get shot, you still get to stay in the game, shooting merrily away at your opponents until only one player has any ducks left.
"Despite all the different kinds of Action Cards, game play continues to be elegant, enjoyable, and essentially ducky. It is easy to learn, and remains fun to the very end. Major FUN." - MajorFun.com
"High production values, a fun theme, and bright cheerful atmosphere make Sitting Ducks Gallery one of my favorite from its genre...
"It's fast and fun; and while there's a smidgen of tactics in the game, it's mostly just a way for up to six people to blow off steam and laugh, while shooting at other folk's ducks." - Tom Vasel

Risks and challenges
Playroom Entertainment has been producing games for 15 years now and have produced Sitting Ducks in the past. We don't anticipate any delays in production; however, with some of the cool new upgraded components (provided we hit our stretch goals), small problems can arise. We have considered those possibilities and have built in a cushion as far as timing is concerned and expect to be ahead of the October 2015 deadline.
We will do our best to keep you all informed to the production and delivery of all items.
