Will all the components from the "All-In" pledge (including expansions) fit into the core game box?
Yes. The 3D houses are designed to be durable and are made for repeated assembly. The sides fold down, allowing them to be stored easily within the main game box.
If I back the 'All-In' pledge, do I receive both the standard components AND the upgraded components?
No. The "All-In" pledge is a single, premium product. The upgraded components are intended to replace the standard ones to give you the ultimate experience. You will receive only the upgraded versions.
Here is a list of the specific component replacements:
The 80 Furniture Standees replace the 80 standard wooden furniture pieces.
The 48 Heirloom Weighted Tokens replace both the 24 punchboard Category tokens and the 24 wooden Prestige tokens.
The 48 Metal Keys (with velvet bag) replace the 48 standard Status gems.
If I buy an upgraded component from the "Add-Ons" section, is it a replacement or an addition?
Items purchased individually from the 'Add-Ons' section are additions to your pledge. They are packaged separately and are sent in addition to the contents of your selected pledge level.
For example: If you pledge for the "Core Game" and then manually add the "Metal Keys," you will receive the complete Core Game box (which includes the standard Status gems) AND you will also receive the separate Metal Keys set.
Will the game box insert have enough room to store cards if I put them in sleeves?
Yes, absolutely! We've made sure to accommodate sleeved cards.
If I back at a lower tier (e.g., $1), can I upgrade to a full pledge later?
Yes, you will be able to upgrade your pledge in the pledge manager after the campaign ends. Please note that prices in the pledge manager will be approximately 10% higher than during the Kickstarter campaign.
How can I get the "Early Bird" Grandfather Clock promo piece?
There are two ways to receive the Grandfather Clock piece:
1. The 48-Hour Early Bird Offer: If you backed any reward tier within the first 48 hours of the campaign launch. The Grandfather Clock will be automatically included with your pledge.
2. The 'All-In' Pledge: If you missed the 48-hour window, the Grandfather Clock is also included by default in every 'All-In' pledge, regardless of when you back.
Backers have requested a gameplay video. Will one be provided?
Yes! We're excited to announce that a live playthrough is scheduled with Michael Louthood of Board Gaming Crew. The stream will take place on Tuesday, October 21st, at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT. You can watch it on the BoardGameGeek (BGG) Live page. We can't wait for you all to see the game in action!
Will Status: A Victorian Affair be available in other languages?
This Kickstarter campaign will produce the game in English only. Following a successful campaign and fulfillment, our goal is to seek partnerships with international publishers to create fully localized editions in other languages. A strong performance in this campaign is the best way to show potential partners that there is a dedicated global audience for the game.
