Updates, and also a reminder
So! Here's the state of curse the darkness. I'm compiling the graffiti, double-checking the editing and the example characters, and making sure that the graphic elements are appropriately labeled. It goes to our layout guy tonight (you may have heard of him, his name is Gareth Michael Skarka) and with a bit of luck and some elbow grease, we'll get it back in enough time to get it all printed and into people's hands at GenCon.
In other, kind-of related news, the Kickstarter for Our Last Best Hope ends in about 2 days. Remember, if you backed curse the darkness at $15 or more, and you back Our Last Best Hope at $10 or more, you get a playset for Our Last Best Hope based on the setting of curse the darkness.
I got to play Our Last Best Hope at Origins, and it was a lot of fun. It plays a bit like Fiasco, if you've played that bit of awesomeness, but it's very much its own thing. Captures a sense of urgency that I really enjoy, encourages dialog and roleplaying, and could be used for any "save the world" scenario you can think of.
Oh, and, if they make it to $10K (they're less than a grand away as of now), they're doing a fiction anthology, to which I get to contribute. So maybe go help them along?
