Each male can produce up to 15-30 young every 2-3 weeks when brooding. The young are really tiny but eat the same food as the adults. This can lead to bioload overload but remember they are really small. So even in a 5-gallon tank, you can have several dozen. I'm certain you will have several stores and hobbyist wanting some to share or purchase. Hobbyists are always happy to help other hobbyists.
