The Pizza Card Game
Hi, my name is Brian Campbell inventor of Pizza Game Dot Com, formally known as Anchovy the Pizza Game. Many call it "The Pizza Game or The Pizza Card Game." It is for 2 to 8 players - Ages 7 to adult. There is a "Pizza Party" point card game and over 40 pizza topping versions of play included!
It is fun with every player having a chance to win until the last card is played. Almost every game players say "I ONLY needed 1 or 2 cards to win. Often the player who thinks they are going to win has victory snatched from them the last split second. This makes for more game play while eating pizza!
So here we are at Kickstarter with experience developing, marketing and selling the game but now with a new brand! Some avid game practitioners tested our newly branded pizza game in Murfreesboro, TN. Our success their as well as with many other card game players has brought us to this exciting opportunity.
I created the very first copyrighted card game that has all pizza backs. This is a new improved version. I have a copyrighted board game that also sold in several stores. We plan on a re-launch of it in the fall of 2018. I absolutely love creativity and the whole innovative process. We will have a Q & A section below soon after we launch which will give more insight on some details.
There is more than just the name that has changed and improved on the Pizza Card Game.. Also new:
- You can order 2 different "Pizza Backs". One with just Cheese and Pepperoni AND/OR one with the 7 pizza toppings needed to win the game actually printed on the Supreme Pizza backs!
- There are more "Double Take" cards improving the action of the game.
- Two "Pizza Game Cards" have been added.
- The "Anchovy" card is now used to ruin an opponents pizza hand just like most people think it ruins their pizza AND we have added another Anchovy card.
- There are 2 less of the Cheese, Green Pepper, Ham, Mushroom and Onion cards giving the game a challenging twist.
- Changes to 3 cards listed here: The Pizza Game Dot Com Card is changed to The Pizza Game Card and branded with our logo colors. The Pizza Menu Card has the same name change as above. Lastly, the Delivery Boy Card is branded to our logo colors and on his black shirt the words "Pizza Lover."
On this page you will notice "we and our." This is because it always takes teamwork for a new endeavor. I love giving credit where credit is due. My wife has been a great encouragement and insisted that our Wild Card be changed to give it more pop- and she was right. The graphic artist we hired was very important in the process as well as funds from people that believe and have been excited about the pizza card game concept.
FedEx Office has been a very important part in the latest updates to the Pizza Card Game. They have a tremendous design team and attention to detail. I've hired them in the past and now they have our project ready to go to the manufacturer. I created our new logo on paper but don't have the skills to finish it on a professional format. They do and did it in several formats including JPEG, TIFF and PDF files. A "BIG THANK YOU" to especially Jessie at FedEx in this pic.
Uber riders have given me great input being a goldmine considering their demographical age range and various places of living. Several Uber riders also purchased Pizza Games! A "BIG THANK YOU" to ALL of them and everyone's support! A few other people that were vital in getting the Pizza Game to its current level in development and strategy were: My wife Joy, sons Jason and Brandon, my Parents, Clinton, Gary, Joshua, and Paula. Also the rest of my family and Tyson and Kendall.
The object of the game is to be the first player to obtain 7 different pizza topping cards and 1 Pizza Game Card. We are far past the R&D stage and are listing rewards as shipped by the end of February 2018.
In the winning hand above the "Wild Card" replaces the Pepperoni Card. The game includes many twists and mind boggling choices. The action cards consist of Delivery Boy, Double Take, Stop Call and the dreaded by some - Anchovy Cards.

The game includes Pizza Menu Cards that are NOT used in the play of the game but for easy reference showing what toppings on the menu you need to be the winner.
Pizza Game 240 is simply a series of pizza games where the first player to get 240 points or more is the winner. Why 240? If you win with no Wild Card you get 100 points, with 1 Wild Card 80 points and with 2 or 3 Wild Cards 60 points. Several combinations of these points equal 240 or more points. A fun twist comes when a player chooses to throw away their valued Wild Card to get more points. Sometimes it works - but sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose!
The Pizza Game is a good memory game because you have to remember what opponent has what cards to improve your chances of winning. For ages 7 to 107, the Pizza Game is for all age groups. There is a great bluff strategy that adds an unpredictable element - that is, if you can do it with a straight face!
Many people reported they had no intention on eating pizza but when seeing the pizza and topping cards they just had to order one - even when not playing but just looking at the pizza cards!
How The Pizza Game Will Be Marketed: All orders on the website will be directed to our Kickstarter page until the campaign is over. After the campaign the marketing and sales efforts will be planned toward the following.
- Social Media
- Pizza Game Website
- Game Stores
- Retail Outlets
- Pizza Restaurants
- Press Releases
- Other Publicity
The Pizza Game funds will be allocated for the double deck playing cards, box, rules and hopefully profit.
We are hoping for a very successful campaign to order more games which brings the cost down drastically.
OVER FUNDING ALLOCATION
It is my desire to have enough Kickstarter funds to increase manufacturing of the playing cards as mentioned above. If we are extremely overfunded then an App will be considered.
