Thank you all so much, together you've made it possible to bring Eagle Island to life in it's full form with 9 environments, over 12 boss battles and an unlimited number of levels!

Some of you joined me on Twitter for the final two hours of the campaign. It was exhilarating as we promoted and pushed our way to the final stretch goal (the mine carts) and finally hit it just 4 minutes before the deadline! If you'd like to keep in touch with me on Twitter, just give me a follow @pixelnicks and you'll get little tidbits of update now and then!

I'm absolutely exhausted from managing this campaign over the last 35 days - but it's been worth it! I'll be doing some slightly boring admin stuff in the background for a short while, but as soon as the game development starts up, I'll be treating you all to the devlog updates and listening to your feedback!

If anyone is looking for a new game to back, I recommend you check out Sons of Void if you like roguelite games. The developer, Grogshot, are only about a week into the campaign and would love your support! The game could easily be mistaken for a finished product with slick graphics and vibrant colours.

Yay! I hope everything goes well and I can't wait to see the devlog :) I also hope you'll set up a (maybe private) forum for the backers, I think that would be a convenient way to show the devlog and establish channels for stuff like feedback and bug reports.
Also waiting on any news on Paypal pledges whenever you make a decision on that, I most certainly wanted to pledge more than the £10 I offered but alas the way KS works prevented me from pledging using PP money and I found out about VCCs too late.
Either way, I'm happy Eagle Island was funded and that I get to be part of the project as a backer <3
