Building your Robot - In Video

So video updates have been thin on the ground since shipping started in earnest. To keep you going, here's how to build your bot.

As we bring Cookbook and the guides up to full-Flotilla-friendliness, we'll be posting more of these. The next couple will be the software/rockpool side of the Bot, then the instrument kit, for those who have been scratching their heads a bit :D

Peace and love and nuts and bolts,

My daughter may explode if we don't get a tracking code soon. Please.. I don't want to have to clean that up.

How is the shipping going guys, really looking forward to receiving this. Got a few days off soon so receiving this by the first week of January would be so excellent.

Great, looking forward to the next part! My parcel is on its way to germany, so hopefully we can start building this weekend!

      Dustin: Hurray!

Mike: The little notch is indeed for looping your main dock cable (the red one) to keep it tidy.

Of course, now I see this - and being an old fogie of a certain age - I'm now thinking: "How can I attache a felt-pen to this, and can I write a LOGO interpreter in Python" ....... Bye-bye weekends! :)

So *that's* what the funky-shaped bit is for ... genius!

Hope this doesn't turn out to be a 'spoiler' - but did you also intend to maybe mount the Motion module on that piece, using the two holes to the left of the matrix (when viewed from the back)?

Is the notch cutout on the other side intended to loop the USB cable through to act as a form of 'strain relief' too?
