A prototype is a preliminary model of something. Projects that offer physical products need to show backers documentation of a working prototype. This gallery features photos, videos, and other visual documentation that will give backers a sense of what’s been accomplished so far and what’s left to do. Though the development process can vary for each project, these are the stages we typically see:
Proof of Concept
Explorations that test ideas and functionality.
Demonstrates the functionality of the final product, but looks different.
Looks like the final product, but is not functional.
Appearance and function match the final product, but is made with different manufacturing methods.
Appearance, function, and manufacturing methods match the final product.
Phrozen has been born from crowdfunding, in March 2016, we launched our first campaign, The Phrozen One: DLP 3D printer, in Taiwan and fulfilled all orders according to our scheduled timeline.
The Phrozen One DLP 3D printer system is capable of printing smaller models with fine details and has been used extensively by our satisfied backers in product design, prototype production, jewelry and dental businesses.
We have since built a community of over 1,000 active users, whom we interact with closely for feedback to make better printers for their creations. The community is also where we discovered a need for a more balanced solution for price, speed, print area, and output quality than conventional DLP and SLA resin 3D printers. Leading to the creation of our current project: Phrozen Make, a LCD-based resin 3D printer, which we believe is a solution that should be shared not only with our local community but also with creative minds from all over the world!

“I was in charge of my company’s movie props and accessed FDM and light-cured technology in 2012. My company was very dissatisfied with the printing quality of FDM and chose light-cured 3D printing, which costs a lot.
Then I met Phrozen One, its affordable price and material cost surprised me. Its amazing printing accuracy also challenges my view. I used to think that you cannot print the details of tabletop wargame miniatures without using a printer that costs thousands of dollars. It’s definitely the most cost-effective 3D printer. I was constantly shocked and amazed by Phrozen DLP!”

“Ever since I worked with Phrozen, I found the quality of its prints really meet designers’ requirement. I am very attentive to accuracy and detail and was stunned to see the fine quality printed by Phrozen One.
They not only have cutting-edge technology, but they are also humble enough to constantly improve their product to meet customers’ needs. That’s why I think Phrozen is the most professional in technology and customer service.“

“My first impression of 3D printing is still at the SLA stage. But after I tried Phrozen One, I think this printer is really awesome. The printed results are high-quality and the machine is also well-built. If you are interested in 3D printing, I strongly recommend you to buy one to try!”
