Big thanks to pledgers so far!

The TinyKeep team would like to extend a huge thanks to everyone who pledged and supported the project during yesterday's Kickstarter launch, as a result we are now featured on the Staff Picks page of the Video Games section! Hopefully this will give us the boost we need as there is still a long way yet before we reach our funding goal.

Yesterday has been an emotional rollercoaster for all of us, we are very excited to see the pledges coming in, but we have to admit it's a little bit stressful as well! The team has spent a lot of money, time and effort getting to this point so far - we really believe in the project and want to make this game as amazing as we possibly can!

Skeleton Gourmands

Even as we speak, our concept designer Ben has been coming up with more crazy ideas for monsters and behaviours. Seriously, the guy doesn't sleep!

We've so far not mentioned a lot about our beloved race of Skeletons, so here's something Ben's thinking about at the moment.

What do Skeletons do when they are not trying to kill you?

The answer is - they eat! Even the Undead need sustenance (isn't it terribly obvious?). So as part of the Skeleton AI, when not fighting they roam around the dungeons looking for bodies of the slain to feast on. They're not particularly fussed about what kind of meat, Orcs, humans, even other Skeletons. In Multiplayer games it may be a particularly gruesome sight watching Skeletons munch away on your newly deceased party member. Even his ghost is horrified at the grisly scene!

This opens up some interesting gameplay opportunities - Skeletons busy on their lunch break may be safely sneaked past as long as you don't get too close, and some might even argue with each other if there is not enough to go around! Skeletons will restore health after eating, so you will want to make sure you are fighting them in an empty corpse-less room to limit their advantage. What if there was a Potion of Scented Steak you could throw to lure some Skeletons out of a room? There are many possibilities...
