Dear Kickstarters,

We are thrilled to announce that The Phantom Tollbooth: Beyond Expectations and director Hannah Jayanti were selected for the On Screen / In Person series thanks to a grant from the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The grant "tours new independent American films and their respective filmmakers to communities across the mid-Atlantic region" and we are honored to be selected!

Starting THIS Sunday, the film will be screening at 5 cities across the East Coast - hopefully YOU are near one of them and can join us! We would love to see you there and get a chance to meet you in person. The schedule is:

Hope to see you there!

And thanks as always for your continued support!

Hannah & the crew

DVDs are shipped! And on their way to YOU

New Yorker Festival Premiere - Photos and Update

Dear Kickstarters,

Last night, the documentary premiered at The New Yorker Festival. The screening was followed by a discussion between New Yorker staff writer Adam Gopnik (an interviewee in the film) and Norton Juster and Jules Feiffer. It was....

AMAZING. As fun, wonderful and charming as we could have hoped. Or shall we say... it went BEYOND EXPECTATIONS!

For those who made it - THANK YOU! We'd love to see your photos, so send them along. For those of you who couldn't make it - we missed you! Here are some photos from the event - you were there in spirit!

xxHannah (& the crew!)

50 years after Norton Juster & Jules Feiffer created The Phantom Tollbooth, they joined forces again to create The Odious Ogre.

Some of you got in touch with us for our first Kickstarter hoping to get a copy as a reward, and now thanks to the generosity of Scholastic, we're able to offer it!

We are excited to offer a LIMITED SIGNED COPY of The Odious Ogre as a new $95 Kickstarter Reward. There's only 25 copies available, so get them soon!

A huge thank you to Scholastic for donating the books in support of the documentary.

And while you're deciding, check out one of our Back-Story Shorts videos about Norton and Jules' collaboration on The Odious Ogre. In the words of Jules, "I wanted to do the biggest, nastiest, ugliest Ogre ever. I wanted to do an ogre that just bled off the page it was so big!"
