A bit about me: I received my BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design and my MFA in Painting from the New York Academy of Art. I regularly exhibit my work in Alaska and on the East Coast. I have taught painting and drawing at various schools and institutions in both New York City and now, Anchorage, where I currently teach art at UAA. In 2013, I spent seven months in the Arctic documenting and painting the subsistence whaling culture of the Inupiat people of Barrow, Alaska....
