Homestretch: The inspirational video of madness. And begging.

This is it boys. 5 days to go, and less than $4k to hit our goal. Looks like it's going to be a photo finish. We've been picking up steam in the last 3 days, and things tend to go faster at the last week, so I think we can do it!

I was going to make a video about our project and its kickstarter to help spread the word at the end. And I did. I was hoping it would turn out to be one of those "So Bad, It's Good" videos, kinda like the Star Wars Kid. But in the end, it was just so bad it was bad...

But there were some cuts that were so bad they where good, so I ended up making an entirely different video with them - it would be a shame to waste it. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever now, but I think it's funny. And perhaps inspirational. But what do I know - I'm totally biased.

So check it out! Laugh, and/or be inspired! One none of those...

Yeah, it's bad.

The Begging segment

With that in mind, since we're getting close to the end, I'm going to ask you fellas once again to help us out in one or more of the following ways:

  • Increase you pledge level - if you got in an early bird, consider raising a couple bucks to the normal price. Or consider getting into the beta. Or getting a T-Shirt / DVD / Poster.
  • Poke the people around you - sharing to facebook is great, but a lot of people with miss it. Show the video to your work colleagues, to your family, to your gaming buddies. In person. Tell them how awesome it is!
  • More sharing - even if you've done it before, do it again: share the project to facebook; say there's only a few days left. Share the goofy video above, like it, favorite it, subscribe, and all that good stuff! Talk about the project in your forums of choice!

Thanks everyone!

And special thanks to Henrique Sampaio, for writing an awesome piece about us (in portuguese), and the folks at Behold Studios, for also writing an update about us.
