draw by drip is a coffee server that also figures weight and time. When you make a cup of pour over coffee, draw by drip will give you precise details on how much water you put in the server, the extraction quantity, and even the brewing time.
Even if you have coffee beans of good quality, the taste of coffee can differ depending on how you make it.
draw by drip will help you make coffee and find a consistent taste you really want.
Draw your own coffee!
Smart server that figures weight and time for pour-over coffee and tea.
A weight sensor built into the bottom of the product shows how much water is put into the container. The coffee server displays weight in increments of 1 gram up to 1 kilogram. The capacity of the container is 500 ml.
When the weight measurement begins, the timer is automatically activated. The time is displayed in 10 second increments and can count up to 5 minutes.
Built-in scale with LED display hidden in silicon strap.
Using a scale built into the container, measure the weight of the coffee beans, the amount of water you put in the server, and the amount of coffee extracted in grams. The figures will light up on the LED displays that is subtly hidden inside the silicon strap. The silicon strap is located on a downward angle, so you can check the amount without having to scale at your eye level.
draw by drip's simple and clean design, allows this product to go well with any kitchen interior. Without any obtrusive lines or numbers on the surface, draw by drip will determine the amount of the ingredients through the silicon strap which can also be used to hang up on a shelf.
The top button turns draw by drip on/off and tares the scale. Press the bottom button to measure the amount of coffee extracted separate from the amount of water poured in once you decide that the brewing process is complete.
When you make pour-over coffee, one of the crucial factors is the coffee to water ratio. Use draw by drip to try to find your daily cup of coffee the way you want.
draw by drip : coffee server and base cover for different kinds of drippers
Holzklotz A27 ceramic dripper and Peters Pantry dripper holder as a set
Traditionally, we had to prepare scales and servers separately for pour-over coffee. Of course, you can use a nice, well functioning scale and server. We just want to propose a another way to do so. What if the coffee server showed me how much to put in by itself in increments of 1 gram, without having to look at lines at an awkward angle? More accurately, without an extra scale.
A variety of pour-over coffee recipes are usually offered in a way that measures the amount of water put in and brewing time. However there are different shapes and sizes of drippers, and the amount of the coffee extracted can depend on the type of dripper you use. It's hard to measure both the amount of water put in and the amount of coffee extracted using traditional scales.
Draw by drip has absolute conversion function that measures the amount of the coffee extracted in the server.
Place the dripper on the draw by drip, press the top button to tare, place the coffee grinds inside. Then press the tare button again, pour water into the server. The amount of water poured in will be indicated by weight, and then timer start at same time automatically. For as long and as much as you want, make your own coffee and remove the dripper from the coffee server once extraction is completed.
Serve the coffee directly from draw by drip. Once it's empty, twist the inner glass container slightly to the left. This will detach the inner container for easy cleaning.
This dripper goes really well with our coffee server. So we (Peter's Pantry) and Holzklotz, collaborated to create a dripper set that consists of a ceramic dripper and a holder for draw by drip. The twenty seven protruding ribbing lines give the right extraction speed, to help bring out the subtle notes within each coffee batch, and allows beginner baristas to easily create a quality cup of coffee.
The rib design on the A27 was the result of us trying to find the ultimate extraction speed through multiple trials and errors, such as 3D modeling and 3D printing. We also wanted to create a thin design that can't be found in our traditional ceramic drippers. This helped us reduce the weight, roughness, and discomfort that might accompany a typical ceramic dripper.
The dripper and dripper holder are collaboration items between draw by drip and Holzklotz. The dripper holder also works with other cone-shaped drippers.
draw by drip works not only with Holzklotz dripper, but with all other major brands as well
One more suggestion on how to use draw by drip! You can use a tea infuser to brew tea with draw by drip. This is because the flavor of tea can also vary depending on the tea leaf to water ratio. draw by drip will allow you to enjoy the taste you want.
Risks and challenges
We currently have a mockup in preparation for mass production, and our prototypes have been rigorously tested by our engineering and manufacturing experts in order to create an optimal final product.
However, we are aware that draw by drip may face additional changes to meet manufacturing requirements. In addition to keeping our backers up to date, we will make sure any changes during production uphold our mission and meet your interests. We will also keep backers continuously informed of any updates or changes.
We truly believe that we will bring draw by drip to the masses, and we have networks and resources in hardware engineering, tooling, manufacturing, distribution, and certification to make this happen.
We are ready for any challenges that we may encounter on the way, and we promise our complete devotion to bringing draw by drip into production and to our backers on time. We promise complete transparency and we will communicate on a regular basis.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
