      @David Steiger The Cathedral is a Super Unit, so it doesn't follow the “everyone’s ships look the same for ease of gameplay” rule.

      I'm perfectly happy with the number of civs in the game but...the fact that it's not practical to collect all Magic cards (for realsies) or HeroClix figures, etc is a significant part of why I don't play those games. I don't have to buy every single bit of a game at once, but deliberately leaving them incomplete...-shudder-

      The Zepzeg are going to be *the* race that gets my wife to play. Not only from the beauty perspective, but she tends to be more of a co-op or multiplayer-solitaire gamer. She’ll play competitive games, but the Zepzeg’s abilities being helpful rather than “take that” is a huge plus.

      Not mentioning the technical hurdles, having the Cathedral figure physically break up would violate the “everyone’s ships look the same for ease of gameplay” rule.

      That would be cool but no the model can't be split apart. I mean, not by design at least.
