@ Sandy Petersen Thanks for the response! Just one more question! If a Yithian copies the Salps, Urumak, Fungi, or Daldath does the Battleship remain in play or is it removed in exchange for the copied super-unit, since these Civ's don't have super ships but rather super starbases, colonies, and citizens? For example, you get the Urumak and then replace your starbase for the Gadzookus, do you just swap out the starbases in the same system and leave the Battleship as is, or do you remove it from play when you bring in super colonies, citizens, or starbases?
Since the Glazaqtoq extra world happens during set-up only, the Yithians, sadly, don't get the benefit of it. This does mean that, absolutely, they are not getting the full greatness of the Glazaqtoq. This is why their Reincarnation ability is far from a slam dunk. I'd say they use it about 2/3 of the time. A new VP is good, but sometimes one of the upcoming just does not fit for what you are going to need.
I have a question about a doing a particular Mindswap. If the Yithians Mindswap with the Glazaqtoq and get their Decaying Glory ability for having two homeworlds, do you replace the Yithian homeworld and central system with both Glazaqtoq's homeworlds? Or do you keep the Yithian homeworld and just sub-out the central system? If you do replace the worlds, do you "transfer" your pre-existing units from the Yithian homeworld to the new Glazaqtoq one, or do you start with the starting fleet that the Glazaqtoq would have? Also, do you remove/destroy any enemy units that were once on the former central system when you swap that system out for the second Glazaqtoq homeworld, or do those units remain?
Sorry for the long question, I am just thinking of all the crazy Yithian combos that you could do. :)
@Arthur - Totally agree, wish I could see everywhere with my skin!!! So cool.
@Sandy Time to get the tinfoil hats.
Nothing is wrong with the conical Yithians. They're just extinct.
And if I had Yithians working for my company, how on earth would I know? Since they'd be possessing human forms.
@Arthur I agree.
Also I don't want to give the wrong impression. I do prefer the conical Yithians, because they look more (cool isn't the right word, hm....) interesting, I still completely love these Yithians. This is actually what I imagined the future yithians looked like, almost suspiciously so. You wouldn't happen to have any Yithians working for your company would you Mr. Petersen?
Because instead of compound eyes, the whole armored surface of their bodies are covered with light and heat sensors. They are one gigantic eye, which sees well into the ultraviolet as well as the infrared. You can't sneak up on a Yithian.
