Dammit! I had a follow up to one of the questions but now I can't remember.
Next time you build a survey, add a last page for comments, please. That way Swiss cheese brains like me can add our thoughts without having to hold onto them for too long. 😃
I wanted to add some comments for my survey:
I think the Starship Captain pledge is a good deal (and will very likely be changing my pledge to that). What I find odd is the Base Commander pledge only being $20 less than Captain (I think you had a similar thing with Planet Apocalypse?). Might be better to have that tier a little more spaced out, maybe closer to $200 (with obviously less content).
Another question was about priorities (gameplay, minis etc), one option was "I might have bought this without the minis". Would you ever consider a cardboard only version of your games? (I recognize that it's not as simple as just printing cardboard components and at some point the cost difference makes it not worth it).
Since there wasn't a specific way to indicate this on the survey, just thought I would offer the following feedback: I think your game designs are very cool, and I love the asymmetry and themes. I really wish more of them were as affordable as Evil High Priest, and I see the minis as a big cost increase that is unnecessary. Don't get me wrong, they're very nice minis, to the point that I actually find them somewhat appealing whereas I am mostly just grumpy about piles of minis in other games I want to play, but I would find the decision to back your products much easier if they didn't so often have $300+ all-in price tags. I am probably in a minority on that, but I figure it's worth putting in my two cents anyhow, so you know we are out there.
Done! Glad to contribute!
