Dracula invited the townsfolk over for dinner (and maybe a few for dessert), but - what a pain in the neck - a mash of monsters have crashed the party looking for a bite. Now everything is at stake…
Dracula’s Feast is a 10-15 minute game of hidden roles and logical deduction for 4-8 players aged 10 and up. Each player takes on the role of a classic monster at a masquerade party - Identify and expose everyone else... and keep all those juicy villagers for yourself.
Dracula’s Feast combines the intrigue and strategy of social deduction with the accessibility of a family game. It's the second release from Jellybean Games, but we can't make it without YOU!
Dracula’s Feast is a hidden roles game with no narrator, no 'eyes closed' phase, no player elimination, and no chance of getting the generic ‘villager’ role. Each character in the game has unique abilities - Dracula has a second life, and Van Helsing wins as soon as she finds Dracula.
Dracula’s Feast is easy to learn and quick to play. It’s been playtested hundreds of times all around the world, and players are consistently impressed by the depth of play, finding new interactions and tricks to stay one step ahead and avoid giving themselves away.
This is a social deduction game with:
- No “night” phase: No more overhearing the sound of rustling while everyone has their eyes closed, or being bumped while tokens are rearranged.
- No narrator: Everyone gets to play!
- No player elimination: Never again be knocked out before you actually get to do anything and be stuck spending the whole game watching everyone else. Even when your identity is revealed, you'll still have your chance to win!
- 9 unique roles: No generic “villager” role - each character has deeply thematic abilities and unique victory conditions!
- Bluffing without ever having to lie: If you don’t enjoy lying to your friends and family, this is the game for you. There’s still room for misdirection - clever players can work out sneaky ways to fool other players - but you are never forced to be dishonest.
- Engagement for the entire game: Watching what other players do - or don’t do - is key to deducing who everyone is, rewarding players for paying attention to everything.
- Flexible player count: Get the full experience of the game playing with 4 to 8...or add in the expansion and play with up to 10!
- No yelling! Even after several hundred playtests, the game has never ended in people shouting at each other. It scratches the social deduction itch, but you’ll still like your friends at the end of the game. Perfect for families!
- 9 unique role cards based off classic horror characters: Dracula, Van Helsing, Werewolf, Zombie, Doctor Jekyll, Boogie Monster, Beelzebub, The Trickster, and Alucard!
- 9 accusation cards to place in the center of the table while playing, so you always know who’s in the game!
- 10 double-sided reference cards listing each monster and their power, and the actions you can take each turn!
- 10 Yes/No whisper cards so you can pass information around without the whole table seeing it!
- A box for storing the above components! Although you could theoretically keep other stuff in there too, if you wanted.
Everyone who gets the game through Kickstarter will also be given 56 cardboard flowers - 7 each in 8 colors, to keep track of who you’ve danced with! These are used by the Kickstarter promo card's unique ability - Captain Bluebeard wins when he collects 3 flowers! This card won’t come in the retail version of the game, so back the campaign now to get your copy!
Everyone who supports us on Kickstarter will receive an exclusive character who won’t appear in retail copies - Captain Bluebeard!
As well as the Captain himself, you’ll get accusation and reference cards, so he can be included in any game of Dracula’s Feast!
After the campaign, these cards will only be available for limited purchase directly from Jellybean Games - support the project to get them for free!
We also have a number of other promo cards planned - see “Stretch Goals” below!
When an Elder God brings friends to crash your party, it’s not easy to ask them to leave. No one can even summon the courage to tell them that their masks do nothing to hide their identities. Fortunately, an Investigator has appeared - and she’s going to banish Cthulhu, or die trying…
Cthulhu and Friends introduces six new characters and several new mechanics into the world of Dracula’s Feast:
VIPs! Five of the new characters are played face up, and come with incredible new powers: King Kong gets to look at a guest after every dance, Cthulhu takes an action after every single turn, and the Grim Reaper may reveal a character immediately before he accuses…
Cthulhu and Friends comes with a deck of Artifacts, each of which gives the players a special power! The Necronomicon changes who you must accuse to win the game, the Shining Trapezohedron gives everyone a second action each turn, and the Hound Amulet lets you ask a question every time you answer a question.
They each have a unique destruction trigger, and the only way to banish Cthulhu is to destroy all of them...but they’re so maddeningly useful, summoning up the will to sacrifice them is enough to drive you crazy!
Dracula’s Feast is a complete game in itself, but the Cthulhu and Friends expansion adds the ability to play with 9-10 players, as well as introducing all new characters and abilities into the game. The expansion is expected to retail at $8, but can be added to your pledge for just $5 more!
“I love that it maintains a spooky feel without being overly macabre...One of the better social deduction games I have played. Keep an eye out for it!“ - Kicking It With Meg
“Everybody had a blast with this. No one I played it with didn’t like it - everyone loved it. It's a hoot!” - The Kwarenteen
"This game has earned a permanent slot in my collection." - Into the Cardboard
“Dracula's Feast does well to separate itself from competitors such as One Night Ultimate Werewolf, The Resistance, and Coup. It really shines and stands out as a unique entry in the genre; quite impressive for such a small package.” - Aficionado
“I strongly recommend you check it out. With simple, yet balanced rules and a fast play time (around 10 minutes) it’s more accessible than other deductive games like Resistance – but has enough strategic depth to provide an engaging experience.” - Another Dungeon
“After playing it, the kids immediately said that it was really fun and wanted to play again. It is a great game that you can sit down and play multiple times.” - The Dice Have It
“There are strategies to the game and it gets better the more you play it. The game is always different.” - Fireside
"I didn't think this would be able to trump One Night Ultimate Werewolf, but everyone said they liked it even more!" - GJJ Games
NOTE: The game has gone through changes since the review copies were sent out. There's no more player elimination, and smaller games go slightly longer and have more variety.
Turns in Dracula’s Feast are simple - choose another player, and either:
- Query them, asking them if they’re a specific character (they’ll secretly answer with a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ card)
- Ask them to dance; if they accept, you’ll look at each other’s cards.
Once you think you can name everyone at the party, attempt to accuse the party. If you've correctly guessed who everyone is, you win! But if you get even a single guest wrong, you're exposed…and have likely given one of your opponents the information they need to win.
It’s simple, fast, fun...and with 9 different characters who can be played in any combination, each game is totally different.
For more information on how to play, view the rules online.
Dracula’s Feast is complete - the art has been arted, the rules rule, and everything is ready to go. We just need your help to make it happen!
If we get enough support, we'll be able to upgrade the game’s components AND include some more promo items for Kickstarter backers - cards that won’t be available in the retail version of the game!

We also have one social stretch goal remaining!
When the Jellybean Games Twitter and Facebook pages reached 600 followers between them, another promo Artifact was unlocked - J'lyeh Beans:
If we can get to 1000 followers between them, we'll add another promo Artifact - Cthulhu's very own Rubber Ducky, an item suggested by backers!

I love Kickstarter. I’ve backed many of my favorite games through the platform, and been able to get to know the creators and really feel like a part of the community.
Earlier this year, I launched my first campaign on Kickstarter - Scuttle! - and thanks to the support I received, Jellybean Games is able to continue its mission: to make family-friendly games for everyone.
Ever since I started working on it, Dracula's Feast has been my personal favorite of the games I’ve created, and I’m really excited to get it out into the world. When I had to work out the best way to do that, there was no hesitation in my mind - Kickstarter was the way to go!
Without your support, we can’t make this game! I’ve already paid for the art and graphic design myself; all we want now is your help to print the game and distribute it around the world.
This project has been a collaboration for Jellybean Games between Peter C. Hayward, Tania Walker, Darrell Louder, and Tom Lang.
Dracula’s Feast is the second project from Jellybean Games. The company was formed to bring awesome experiences to gamer kids and their parents, while making games that can also be enjoyed by the wider gaming community.
We make games for kids that grown-ups love.
All the money we raise will go towards making Dracula’s Feast even better, and furthering development on all our future games.
If you like the game, please support us (every dollar helps!) and tell your friends - the game is great for gamers and non-gamers alike, and helping to get the word out means that we can keep on making cool games for many years to come!
Risks and challenges
This is my second project on Kickstarter - my first, Scuttle!, exceeded my wildest expectations and is currently en route to backers, a full month early. I can’t promise the same for Dracula’s Feast, but I can assure you that I’ve learned a lot about assembling and distributing a game, and plan to apply everything I’ve learned to this project as well!
I’ve been told by many people who pledged to my last campaign how much they enjoyed being kept in the loop, and I plan on maintaining that level of communication on this project.
For the first time, I’m offering a money-back guarantee! If you decide that Dracula’s Feast isn’t for you within a month of receiving it, you can return it for a full refund, no questions asked.
The game has been playtested, the art and graphic design is complete, and so all that needs to happen once the campaign closes is for everything to be sent to the printer and then mailed out! Additionally, I’m friends with the Greater Than Games team, who have been responsible for many successful kickstarters - they've been invaluable in helping me prepare, and if I run into trouble they're available to offer advice and make fun of my Australian accent.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
