Incredibly grateful for all the hard work that has gone into delivering the final product to us. Thanks so much.
Reading this, I felt so stressed on Brit's behalf. Thanks to all of you for your hard work!
Thank you for all of your hard work. We didn't realize how insanely crazy and stressful this was. Lots of hugs and tea for Brit!
The wait was actually kind of awesome because by the time the DVD arrived, I could hardly remember paying for it, so it felt like I was getting it for free. #win
Yes, thank you for all the hard work! As I was reading this update, I was wishing I could've sent encouragement your way during those long months. Hugs for all of you!
You guys are awesome and all the effort you've put to it won't go unapreciated. Thank you for the beautiful final product.
Thanks so much for all of your hard work!
This is so incredibly familiar to me! I have been a Project Manager in publishing for 10 years, and there is always, always something that goes wrong. Even the best intentions have trouble. I certainly don't blame you of trying to keep costs down while trying to keep the fans happy. And, it's so, so frustrating when a vendor doesn't get back to you with problems. I've had that happen, too. Lots of sympathy from me!
You guys did such a great job with the product, thank you so much!
Hi! Above all i really appreciate how open you're being with these updates. Thanks.
I am so proud to have been a part of this project, and am thankful that all of you put so much work into it. Thank you for including your viewers, and I am excited to follow you guys into the future with other projects that you might create. You are all amazing.

The way that went down with the manufacturers, it's like they did it on purpose. Like they were hoping you'd pony up the cash to get a "professional" to do it. Because, seriously, they should have been saying what their requirements were for subtitles even BEFORE you guys sent them. Sounds really fishy to me. =_=
I wish i'd known what Brit was going through for all those months! I feel bad being impatient when she was struggling and working over xmas like that! But at the time it would have been nice to have updates like we are getting now!
Maybe next time, if there is a next time, don't keep the backers in the dark until the project is completed. Because as great as this explanation is now (because we definitely deserve an explanation) you know what would have been even better? If we knew all this AT THE TIME it happened. It's not like we're unreasonable people, most of us would have been understanding if you actually told us what was going on rather than waiting till now to tell us.
Keeping backers in the dark for months about what was going on, is that going to explained at some point?
I hope one of the lesson's you've learned that you'll mention in part 3 is that your backers would like to know about these details and reasons behind delays WHILE it's happening. More than anything coming out of this I'm disappointed in the poor communication throughout the past year.
Thanks for the explanation. Congratulations to Bernie, Brit, and all the staff for making this happen.
Thank you for all the hard work you put in to give us a quality product.
It seems like in projects like this there is an extremely unwillingness to badmouth a company you're working with when terrible things to start to happen. This is absurd. If you had been open every step of the way with the nonsense the manufacturer was putting you through, many many many people would have been far less upset. Be open and honest throughout the entire process, not afterwards.
Thanks for all the hard work that everyone involved in this project undertook. Brit went above and beyond the call of duty and I truly appreciate that. I did not mind the delays because I knew my stuff would arrive eventually and from what other friends have told me delays in delivering kickstarter perks are not out of the ordinary. One friend had to wait 2.5 years for a DVD of a movie she pledged to arrive. Thanks again, I'm loving the LBD rewatch.
I never got my DVD. And the email address to send concerns, etc, is not working.
