“Make A Home”

Envelope Peasant & the Scientific Orchestra finished recording and mixing their new album, “Make A Home” at Origami Lounge last night... we are very, very excited with how beautifully the recording turned out. Thank you to Scott Barwick, Evan Thyme aka J Everett, Evin Wolverton, Cindy Stallman, Jed Brewer and especially our Kickstarter supporters for helping bring this artwork to life. Release Date: May 19th!

The recording of "Make A Home" is now completed!!!!!

Good morning!

The Scientific Orchestra is happy to announce that last night at Origami Lounge it completed recording its upcoming CD!! It will be mixed this weekend, and then mastered and sent to manufacturing next week.

The album also now bears a name: “Make A Home”. Recorded in a mostly live format, it is full of the joyousness, idiosyncrasies and introspect that constitute the Envelope Peasant & the Scientific Orchestra’s live performances.

Speaking of live performances, our CD Release Show is now scheduled! It will be at Origami Lounge in Chico, California on Saturday, May 19th. Also performing will be Run On Sentence, the majestic indie gypsy-folk group from Portland, Oregon, indie-pop Americana canyon dwellers Crashed Giraffe and Chico’s wistful and moving acoustic duo Broken Rodeo. In addition to their talents, they are dear friends and sources of much musical inspiration for us.

Current show information may be found at our website & Facebook page:
