In 2015, you helped us kickstart a community. Three years later, we’ve come up with something else you’re going to LOVE.
After listening to what you like and what you love, we noticed a need.
Paul had a friend who had just returned from an amazing trip to Greece.
When Paul asked him, "Do you have any pictures I could see?" Austin said no.
That simple question started a whole conversation about Austin’s problem. Of course he had photos. How could he go on this once-in-a-lifetime trip and not take his camera?
The trouble was, he couldn’t show Paul the hundreds, maybe even thousands, of beautiful images from his adventure because they were buried on his hard drive.
He had posted a handful of iPhone shots on Facebook and Instagram, but that was it.
It is so easy to get stuck like this with digital photography.
It can feel OVERWHELMING to move from snapping a great photo to actually having artwork to hang on your wall and SHARE with friends and family.
- You have to carve out the time.
- You have to transfer and organize all your images.
- You have to start narrowing down your choices.
- You second-guess a lot.
- You take a short (or months-long) break.
- Once you finally pick one or two favorites, you stall out again. The last time you ordered canvas from one of those cheap print-on-demand places, you were disappointed with the quality.
My ALIVE Photo (MAP) will finally get you UNSTUCK!
That’s what this Kickstarter is all about, and it seems so simple, so obvious. We thought it must already exist. But it doesn’t. Well, not until now.
You give us your images, we show you how to edit them, and we send you a top-quality 20" x 30" canvas print of your image to hang on your wall.
There’s something about finally hanging that one epic image on your wall. Once you see it edited to perfection and presented in the highest quality available, a shift occurs. You reminisce. You remember what you were thinking and feeling in Paris, Tanzania, New Zealand.
The fire of inspiration ignites again.
How long ago was that trip? Too long! You need to start planning your next one.
Having the fruits of your labor, so to speak, right in front of you motivates you to repeat the process with other adventures and experiences gathering dust on a memory stick or dusty external drive.
What you need is a little nudge, a little momentum, and that’s where My ALIVE Photo (MAP) comes in. You’ll find the process super energizing. You’ll take action with those photo books. Who knows… maybe you’ll book your next plane ticket.
(You think we’re kidding, but we’ve watched it happen!)
WHY DID WE CREATE THIS?
We don't just hand you a fish
—aka, a gorgeous photo to hang on your wall.
We will teach you how to fish.
We’re going to teach you HOW to comb through your images, pick the best ones, and edit them. We’ll record custom HD-quality videos that walk you through the entire editing and culling process. You can implement those same steps on any future set of images. We also customize your tutorial to fit your current skill level and proficiency with editing/culling.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
We have experimented with 50 MAP students already. Here's what they're saying:
John → "My print arrived on Tuesday. It looks GREAT! My MAP experience was far MORE than expected. I plan to use my new found skills in Ecuador and the Galapagos. I’m even beginning to think more critically about my local photos. Thanks again for an enlightening, educational and enjoyable experience."
Susan C → "I just returned from a trip where I took 1100 images. I was asked to do a presentation a week later. Using the MAP formula, I was able to narrow those down to 50 images very quickly. Before MAP, I would have been OVERWHELMED. Thanks for the workflow process and the enhancements to my editing skills!"
Romaine → "This entire exercise has been VERY valuable and much more instructive than many classes that I have taken. I was so excited after watching the 3 recordings that I had to let you know. I am so happy that I signed up for this."
Albert → "This was one-on-one, using my photographs, not competing with twelve other workshop participants. The canvas of my print was a bonus. Honestly, I couldn't be happier right now. My creative juices have been fired up once again. I can't wait to get out to shoot."
“Initially, I was leery about spending the money on this concept. But I must say, it was well worth it. I have easily spent that much on weekend workshops and not gotten nearly the amount of feedback and useful information that I got from these sessions."
Okay. So which reward is right for you?

Risks and challenges
We are working with a lot of technology and managing a lot of people. You may need to be patient with certain members of the ALIVE Pro team due to their wild and colorful travel schedules. With that said, we are confident in My ALIVE Photo after testing it with over 50 MAP students. We have established our core team and processes, and we’re ready for MAP to get you fired up!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
