In October of 2005 I started a journey: to leave my corporate job and become a professional musical-storyteller. In the years since I've led sing-alongs, told stories around campfires, performed at festivals and worked as an historical tour-guide. Along the way I've discovered that telling stories brings people back to that world of wonder that we all lived in as children - it awakens the sense that the world is big and discoverable, that there might actually be real magic, because no one has told us different, and that anyone can be a hero - all they need is a stick and a trash-can lid.
On July 7th, 2012 I will be presenting a concert of my very best work: my favorite adventure stories, folk-tales, story songs, harmonica music and (wait for it) sword fighting (yes, sword fighting) all framed in the tale of my own personal journey to become a professional entertainer.
I've already rented a great theater: Templar's Hall in Old Poway Park, one of the very best storytelling venues in San Diego County.
