Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow....

Posted by Jacob Hurst (Creator)

Hello All,

We've been stuck in a little bit of a holding pattern with the printer, and some of the originally estimated ship dates have slipped (I was expecting to have a small number of books in hand today). However Friesens "baked in" this sort of possibility to the timeline and we will still have them in time for Gen Con.

Once the books are complete they'll be freighted out in 4 batches:
One batch will go to Texas so Evan, Donnie, Gabriel and I can get copies signed before being shipped out. One batch will go to the UK for international distribution. A small batch will go to Indiana for sale at Gen Con. And the remainder of the books will go to a distribution warehouse (where hopefully they'll fly off the shelves... tell your friends)!

In the meantime, I received a couple of unbound signature proofs of the books, and some sneak peeks as the completed cover for The Dark, so please enjoy these teaser shots!

@Frits - That is correct, I still haven't contacted anyone in Europe yet. I just received a message today that they had to change their estimate of the number of books that would be going into each box (from 22 to 20) because 22 would push the weight of each box over 40lbs which is a standard weight. As soon as I have final weights, I'll be reaching out.

@Mad - I'll be reaching out once I have books in hand to confirm that everyone who said they wanted to pick it up still does, and we'll go from there. But I think it should be pretty flexible.

How will the Gen Con pick up work?

You haven't contacted European backers yet, correct?
Otherwise I need to dig through my spam folder:-)

Thanks Matthew! I'm sorry, that's totally my bad. I'm using a fulfillment company. I keep saying distribution but I mean fulfillment. We have no distributor at this time.

I run a store in Sydney, Australia (Games Paradise - ) - can I ask which distribution service you'll be using? Feel free to message me if you'd prefer not to put it out more generally.
