Course Correction

Dear backers,

We have some bad news. As most of you know the last few weeks have been eventful for the Painted Oceans project. Due to negative feedback from a small minority, we are forced to renegotiate the terms of our art project with the Project Redsand Trust (the custodians of the forts). As a result, we will be suspending our Kickstarter campaign until an agreement has been met.

When we started this voyage we were on firm ground. After years of planning and putting together a world class team for an extremely positive project we’ve been hit by some unpredictable and disappointing circumstances. As with many adventures, Painted Oceans is now in the midst of a course correction. Do not worry though - we have a Plan B and a Plan C. Please know - we ARE NOT giving up. We know the Painted Oceans project is an amazing opportunity to show the world that public art is powerful, and can bring out the best in all of us. When we are ready to re-launch our project and our path forward is IRON CLAD we hope you will be the first aboard.

We will keep the project updates coming through our Kickstarter page, newsletter and social media. You will be the first to know what comes next! Thank you all for your support!

Sorry to hear this guys, but here's hoping this happens in some form or other in the very near future - the UK needs more projects like this so I'll be keeping my eyes and ears open and look forward to helping out once this gets back on track.

      All the best,

A very disappointing turn of events. This is a fantastic initiative. You will continue to have our support. Look forward to seeing a re-launch.
