Our kickstarter is here to hopefully raise funds for the printing of the first edition of a new high quality, full colour, glossy Paintball sports magazine. The only in print magazine dedicated to Paintball!
We will be covering all aspects of Paintball, from tournaments to scenario games and everything in between, aimed at new players and seasoned paintballers alike, featuring up to date and honest reviews of paintball kit and covering reviews of European events, we will give tips to improve your game from some of the biggest names in the industry, player and team profiles and exclusive competitions.
The kickstarter will fund the initial print run and a host of goodies for those good enough to pledge, as well as our licensing costs for software and all our marketing and promotion costs which have been substantial.
By pledging for your copy of the first issue of Paintball magazine you will be securing a foundation for the continued print run of many more issues to come.
Risks and challenges
There are many potential pitfalls in producing a physical print magazine, many of these have already been sorted, we have a great print company lined up that already produces very high quality magazines. However without content we won't have anything to fill the pages, currently we have more content than pages to fill, this however may not be the case for future issues, this is partly the reason why we are currently producing the magazine on a quarterly basis, thankfully we have a large team of volunteer reporters and photographers traveling all across Europe to bring us news, as well as our readers submitting comments and reviews. As long as the paintball community keep buying the magazine we should see sales increase, another obstacle may be the lack of company's coming forward to advertise, luckily we have many connections within the industry, already we have had very positive feedback and many feel that they would like to back a print magazine. As our readership increases, so will potential advertising. If this does however not happen, our costs will just about be covered by our subscriptions.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
