Padron Watch Company has delivered four Kickstarter projects to date. My way of doing things is unique in that I do not work with an integrator overseas. Instead I've spent the past several years traveling to identify strong suppliers and cultivate direct relationships with proven manufacturers with a focus on the long term.
I deal only with factories, source my parts independently, and all of the assemblage, QA, packaging and distribution happens inside the United States.
I build at a rate of 4-5 watches per day. They will be tested, packaged and shipped as they are completed in a concurrent process.
Risks and challenges
Padron Watch Company has successfully delivered four Kickstarter projects to date.
The Tessera X-Ray Edition shares the same case and stainless band as the stock Tessera, and these are parts which I have already acquired and am in possession of. In the event there is unforseen demand, the tooling is already made, and ordering more cases and bands is straightforward but may add another 35-40 days to the timeline. Following this will be my personal build time. I build at a rate of 4-5 watches per day. They will be shipped as they are completed in a concurrent process.
Production delays are the most common risk to take into consideration. The best I can assure you is that with any challenge I do my very best to keep pledges informed and involved.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
