Risks and challenges
We've decided to re-launch our brand on Kickstarter after our initial launch in August of 2017. We're proud to say that our company was profitable after 8 months of sales, and we received a number of glowing testimonials during that time. We soon realized however, that we would need to get more investment in order to take our work to the next level.
The biggest risks to our product and brand is a crowded market. There are a number of compression wear/performance underwear brands out there already, and we risk being lost in the mire. Our goals are to differentiate ourselves through smart branding, seeding, customer service, and creating truly superior product from both a construction and an aesthetic standpoint.
We foresee a challenge with fulfilling orders if Kickstarter funding exceeds our goal by more than 300%. While our company was profitable in the past, it wasn't profitable to the point of supporting our entire team full time, and we'd have to dedicate hours to fulfilling and shipping orders that we don't necessarily have as things currently stand. Having more orders than we can fulfill in a timely matter would be a good challenge, but a challenge nonetheless.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
