About this project
The Best Fitting, Eye Catching, American Made Graphic Tee’s!
P7 Clothing is not just your average every day apparel story. This story begins with Benjamin Johns, a 23 year-old entrepreneur sharing the light of his younger brother Adam who pasted away in March 2011. Benjamin said, “Adam, my younger brother was my inspiration to create my company’s values and the acronym that I use for them is “SIICK,” Service to Society, Innovation, Integrity, Customer Delight and Keeping P7 American made. We donate 10% of net profits back to inner city schools reading, writing and art programs. We also donate to veterans organizations line wounded warriors. We also raise and donate money for charities such as Sierra organ donors and much more..
We are innovators in the apparel industry,
as indicated, “We believe that one person can change the world and we doing that one garment at a time. At the present time, virtually every clothing company along with many other brands are compromising their passion and creativity by just reprinting their name or the same designs over and over without meaning.” Everyone has that favorite shirt or favorite piece of art work, now imagine getting to wear clothing that is all art driven! and with each design there are hundreds of small details, symbols, brush strokes, pencil lines and more. We are uniting that art collector and clothing connoisseur where you can collect not only the series of shirts but art to go along with it!
P7’s designs originate as hand drawings or paintings which are sold in print form in addition to the apparel.
The original hand drawings or paintings are redesigned on the shirt so that the full art work forms to the shirt to make it look like it was painted or drawn on the shirt. It is then taken a step further and poetry is used to describe the graphic art work which is printed directly on the back of the shirts. This is done to give meaning to all of the products and to give the consumers a sense of a personal relationship to the products by allowing the consumers the opportunity to interpret the poetry and graphic art for themselves in a way that resonates with their own lives.
“We understand that in our great country there are heroes amongst us that have allowed us to flourish and to give me this great opportunity.”
Those heroes are the military men and women who answered the call of duty to serve and protect this great country. Like my older brother, William Johns, who served in the Marines doing multiple deployments overseas and is now serving as a police officer at home. I am committed to hiring veterans and giving back to these heroes through programs such as Wound Warriors. We love this Country for the amazing opportunities it provides.” Currently 75% of P7’s staff are veterans. For this reason he is committed to making 100% American made products. Furthermore, P7 will donate 10% of net profits back to charities in America to help reading, writing, and afterschool art programs.
Our Goals are simple, Raise enough money to produce the new art line, continue to keep P7 Clothing made in the USA! Get the new line printed and have enough inventory to move product worldwide! All while keeping Jobs here in the USA and helping us continue to raise money for our veterans and first responders here at home! And Help The Afterschool programs much needed in the U.S.!
Help Us! Bring The New Line From The Canvas To The Clothing!

We take pride in our fabric! Everything is custom cut & sewn in La. We use almost double the threads in our shirts to make a more flexible yet stronger and softer fitting shirt. Our clothing fits a little longer so that way the shirts length is never an issue and we have completely gotten rid of the "Being in the middle between medium and large dilemma."
Risks and challenges
There is a chance that we have much more demand than we expected. This is why we need to build a little inventory. This is also good, because it'll help drive down costs of both materials and labor, and allow us to offer the product in our store at lower cost. We hear many Kickstarter campaigns in the past have struggled to keep up with responses. We here at P7 Clothing have a commitment to reply to our supporters within 24 hours. we are investing all the time necessary to make this happen. All of our partners are optimized to work with large orders and brands and do so on a weekly basis!
We'll be coordinating the production of almost 30 different styles and will be working with one cut&sew manufacture in Huntington Beach California. We have worked with this manufacture before and laid out printing times needs, and estimated deliveries for product. If for any reason the manufacture is unable to provide the necessary volume, or there are any problems during the production phase, we have relationships with other cut/sew manufactures in the Los Angeles area. All manufactures have years of experience working with extremely large brands, and because they are very close to where we live, we intend to be very active in the manufacturing process.
After production, we'll have a short amount of time to organize sizes and orders that have come in. We have a complete system set up to ship product as soon as it comes in to P7's Hands. Once we get the product it instantly ships to you. If for any reason we are missing sizes during this time it could delay delivery dates or if we completely sell out of product!
