For some reason I didn't get this update (no email) and didn't see the request before now to complete the backer survey. I have completed this now and look forward to receiving my order.
      Thank you very much.

I’ve finally received my order and I have to say I’m blown away by the packaging and quality of the box set. I’m so happy with the overall content and quality of the entire set. I can’t wait to show it off to my friends and family. I had goosebumps when I went through the entire box. Great work! Thank you.

had to come back and comment for a third time now that I've opened the box and had some time to truly appreciate it. The packaging, design and final product are absolutely stunning! The audio is superb, the records are beautiful, the book is amazing and everything about this is better than I could have hoped for. Thank you so much for all your efforts to bring this to life. And one last point: the stunning high-res photo spanning the three hard sleeves is awesome! THANK YOU!

I'm posting here in case Ozma is keeping track and wants to follow up with its fulfillment company: my box set also arrived partially open due to a poor sealing job. It would have been better if the box had been taped along both the length and the width of the box AND if the tape holding the flaps shut had been long enough to go from one end of the box to the other end.

Received and well pleased with it. Thank you from Italy.

21st September in Perth, Western Australia.
Arrived today, one of the flaps had come out from under the tape... and there is no pin inside; it wasn't included.

      Expecting a replacement soon.

Thank you! Arrived today - 20 Sept - in New Zealand. found the badge in the packaging, and will wait until i'm home to unwrap the beautiful box. It looks stunning. Such an awesome awesome project and final result. Well done to everyone involved.

I just opened the box and I'm amazed with your works.
The records are heavy, translucent, yellow, beautiful; I'm happy to rediscover the difficulties to put the records inside their covers, last time it was more than 25 years ago.
I feel like now I have a little piece of these two spacecrafts, so far away from Earth, two travelers which left Earth to be a memory of this little blue dot. Bon voyage et bonne chance, Voyagers :-)
Thank you, team Ozma, for the idea and the hard work :-)

Thank you very much for all the work & the quality of what I received is more then what I expected. Now to set aside some time for reading & listening.

My copy arrived this morning, and I'm glad to say that my cross border concerns were misplaced. I opened the box while watching coverage of Cassini's final moments, bringing back my own Voyager memories from JPL. Thanks!

My copy arrived yesterday, thank you! I was nearly 12 when the Voyager probes launched, and I'd always hoped to hear everything that we'd put into our bottled message to the universe. One of my favorite parts of the book is the list of greetings, their translations, and the names of the speakers.

May the originals one day be played, and may our species still be here to learn of it!

I recieved mine today! Listened to some hellos and whale song! Sooo awesome. Thanks folks!

Got mine today! Just a note that one of the box's flaps was loose from under the yellow tape. Everything looks ok and the pin was in place, though (yay). Might want to use wider/stickier tape on future shipments though.

Will FedEx be automatically distributing tracking numbers once international orders are in transit? Waiting patiently in New Zealand. Massively excited about receiving this! I was born the day Voyager II left earth!

Yes but I have issues that there is no tracking number available. How will I know when to expect it? How will I know if it was stolen from my porch or any other place along the way? Something commemorating such a technical advancementioned but not using technology to track it is ironic. Wish I could just drive down and pick it up myself.

    33. Edmundo Oliver

I never thought that I would be having all these intense roller coaster feelings (picture Jodie Foster trying to describe a cosmic event in Contact) went from joy, laughter, tears, awe, some anger (because, as Sagan said, "we are capable of such beautiful dreams, and such horrible nightmares. You feel so lost, so cut off, so alone, only you're not. See, in all our searching, the only thing we've found that makes the emptiness bearable, is each other.”) and thankfulness again.
In these times, we need to remember that we are just a small speck in time and space, we are here for such a brief time.
We need to remember that we are the sole authors of what happens to our "spaceship", and we can choose right if we only wish to do so.
There is no amount of Thank you and appreciation for such a work of art.

Great to hear that there is now a good chance on getting a shipping number from FedEx. Curious as to when the international shipments are planned to go out.

    36. James M.

Thanks for the info, but even without being able to issue tracking numbers automatically, I would have preferred USPS all the way. I have an account with them, so if you have tracking on the packages, I would have seen it in my account once it got into the USPS system. Considering it's not there now, I assume my package hasn't shipped yet and thus will be coming by FedEx SmartPost, which means a longer delivery time. Any such hand-off from one shipper to USPS always does. It may not be a lot, but it will come later by FedEx SmartPost than it would have by straight USPS. However, I don't get to choose the shipper. Still anxiously awaiting this now-late reward. I hope it comes soon -- seeing The Farthest movie at work recently increased my disappointment at not having this already and eagerness to get it in my hands.

    37. John Beene on

Thank you for the more specific shipper information! It's important for those of us who live in apartments to know those things since different services often handle things differently. Tracking numbers are very important too so having those if they are available is very important with something as special as this. Verrrry much looking forward to getting that box! :D

I have a question about international shipping. Often parcels shipped to Canada by Fedex and other private services are subject to excessive 'brokerage fees' charged to the receiver by the shipping service. I hope that will not be the case here.

I found a beautifully wrapped box leaning against the fence. Tears came to my eyes when I opened it. You have done an extraordinary job. I have dreamed of holding Voyager's sounds and images since I was a kid.

You made the dreams of an exuberant 11-year-old kid come true 40 years after the dream.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
